    Nah, card opener.

Makabu vs. Mino, Bursak vs. Fletcher, and Joyi vs. Loreto all still to come.

This sounds like the same commentator that was for Van Heerden vs Matthew Hatton, Hilarious!

Bryne is now on his bike, and he stopped pushing out the jab, but Belaev is open for body shots and left hooks if Bryne can time it, and stay out of range afterwards. He likes to admire his work too much and then gets caught with clean counters by Belaev, which means even when he's doing well he takes some bombs to get his own punches off. Frustrating.

Thanks. Hopefully Makubu's fight is the co main-event (as it should) since most TVS will broadcast these two sole fights.

Belaev has alot of flaws in his game, if he can get shook up by a D-level contender like Byrne then imagine when he's in with a real quality counter puncher.

Byrne thinks he's going to be world champion someday, so he dominated a future champ :D

Haha wouldn't say that, he basically just exposed a few flaws in his game. Bryne has taken a beating but, he's fought very bravely, probably for his own good. He secretly likes a tear up and believes he can knockout Belaev. So he's often fighting away on the inside but getting outgunned.

I saw Bryne fight live against Terry Holmes and since then he's considerably improved (I think that fight was a massive off night for him as he lost).

He reminds me of Craig McKeown, nice little boxer but just lacks any sort of power.

Good fight, but I only gave Bryne about 3 rounds at the most. Fair play to both fighters, possibly the best performance of Bryne's career sadly for him Balaev was impressive offensively and stayed on top of him and kept smashing in those uppercuts.
