Buckland is headhunting with soaring rights when Rees stands and sinking left hooks when he ducks. Rees is managing to block a great deal and hooking the body hard as Buckland comes in. Uppercut by Buckland. Rees is sticking the jab up from the hip as Buckland walks onto it. Right high on the head by Rees, windmilled from behind the back on the outside with a half-step in, backing out again upon landing. Buckland flurries as Rees sits back on the middle rope and bounces off them, ref getting in to disentangle them. Double left hook by Rees, scraping the chin of Buckland and planting the second on the lungs.

Round 3

Buckland is planking his jab out from the high guard and falling in with pickaxe rights. Rees is crouching out of reach and countering with bursts of hooks low to high. Uppercuts by Rees leaning in, chiseling at Buckland's long body. Double right hand, left hook by Buckland, forcing an exchange inside. Rees answers with a three punch combo backing Buckland off. Right to the body drilled in straight by Rees, wide slapping right on the hip by Buckland.

Round 4

Buckland is doubling his jab into Rees' teeth. Rees is mistiming his jab, forking it out past Buckland's right ear as Buckland leans in. Double left hook by Rees. Right hand by Buckland. Body shots by Buckland, catching Rees' hook and left uppercut combos on his forearms while crowding down on him. Buckland puts together uppercut combinations pressed in close on Rees. Left hook from Buckland spading into Rees' belly. They exchange hooks to head and body in the pocket, bumping and grinding, horns locked and guards interposed. Rees is hurt by several Buckland hooks, backed up!! Rees answers with a right hand and long left hook.

Round 5

Buckland is wailing on Rees' head with paddling lefts and rights, marching him down, bossing him across the ring. Rees is sticking his butt out, deeply bending at the knees, putting his all into spring-up counter hooks but not slowing Buckland. Rees is caught with a few uppercuts on the chin, Buckland landing more with forearm on the follow-through than with knuckle but still taking the desired starch out of Rees. Buckland is pushing down on Rees' head with his right arm as Rees dives in hooking the body. Nice left uppercut to the body by Buckland. Left hook on the liver by Rees, really torquing into it pushing off the back leg. Left forearm shiver by Buckland and a jab backing out. Rees comes forward. Buckland jogs around him, sticking long left jabs.
