He is very near P4P right now. I don't see anyone from 154-168 beating him.

 

Why should Floyd fight him?

Floyd is a welterweight.

 

This bandwagon is getting heavy I see. Can we wait until he beats some quality competition? I mean seriously this has to stop. You guys are hyping him up far too much.

He loses to Floyd and Ward at 154 and 168 respectively. A bloated Floyd at 160 loses. And a Drained Ward at 160 loses. But if he goes to those wait classes, I think he loses and loses decisively. Just my opiniom

 

Golovkin has never fought at 154 or 168. He has fought JMW's, but not at JMW.

Until he does, even just once against a somewhat live fringe contender, no one has any reason to consider fights at those weights. It's just mindless self promo talk.

And, PS, all signs point to Golovkin as the one whose team and HBO want to NOT fight Ward any time soon.

 

Anyone can become P4P king, by the way. Anyone. They just need to rally off the winning streak.

At the moment, Golovkin lies behind a pretty long list of guys. I'd rate him top 30 P4P but if I made a list, probably not top 20.

Same for Floyd and Pacquiao and Klistchko and Hopkins detractors.

These "bottom feeding losers" are highly relevant. They/we do matter. Without them/us, nobody makes any money and every boxer, trainer, cutman, promoter, etc. all go polish their resumes and go hunting for a job the next day.
