Ian John Lewis with another one of his patented British stoppages.

    Ian John Lewis strikes again.
That **** should never be allowed in a boxing ring, he doesn't have a clue about reffing a boxing match.

Eh...don't know about that. Munroe was probably okay but spent well over a minute trapped in the corner at times looking defenseless.

Selby calling the ref in made the refs mind up early stoppage for me

Selby is clearly a talented fighter but as I said earlier I feel a little disappointed with him

Look at his, Lee was slapping and most of his punches were blocked.

LOL @ you idiots saying it was a bad stoppage. Munroe was just sitting there getting pelted.

Yes Watt you can fault the ref for stopping that. **** IJL the worst ref in British boxing ****ing joke stoppage. Selby meh not impressed again never have been Sky of course trying to pass that performance off as spectacular. Selby will get his arrogant arse handed to him soon enough.

All true, but Munroe was shipping a fair bit of clean damage while floundering in the corner there even with most of it being slaps and much of it blocked. At times he seemed to be taking it just fine but at other moments his responses were more worrisome, long stretches without a punch back, sagging body language, hands dropping etc.

Yeah pelted. Almost exclusively on the arms. Watch the replay. Munroe wasn't doing **** to help his case, but he wasn't in danger of being imminently sparked out either.

Every fighter should know the score by now when they're fighting in the U.K.
I got no sympathy for them if they're just going to lay on the ropes/corner and take punches.

Jim Watt claims I can't the fault the ref for that stoppage. The **** I can't!

For as long as these sky guys continue to cover for the officials and fail to highlight these insanely bad stoppages there will be no end. If it were over in the US the HBO and Showtime guys would be going ape**** over this sort of thing. And we have to put up with this crap on a regular basis with not boo to a goose said about it in the media.

Yes but he didn't really have a chance to punch back with Lee slapping so much so he probably thought I'll just wait on him to slap himself out. He didn't look hurt at any point to me.

    Yeah, he pulled a Manfredo.

Every boxer in the UK knows that is competitive suicide. :yep
