Abraham WAS basic (i'm speaking about him in past tense because he's pretty much inactive and retired now), but Golovkin even more so. Abraham had a solid jab, and his hand speed (when he let them go) was quicker then Golovkin.

Abes go a lot of fans on here, most of whom would disagree adamantly with your assertion.

And gh.......Abe is not inactive, he's fighting to regain his wbo title here pretty soon.:think

Better jab?? Golovkin could possibly have the best jab in boxing.

Its better than Wlad jab. Wlads jab is the most overrated punch in boxing - if ypu can even call it a punch.
Painting a picture and knocking on the door isn't jabbing.
It would be a total non factor were it not for the power.

Golovkin throws a perfect, Sonny Liston type jab.

Abe was a mediocre amateur, GGG was an elite level amateur all the way through.

No way, AA was a dangerous middleweight world champion, he might give Golovkin problems in his prime, but what people don't get it's that it's GGG skills that makes him dangerous, yes he can punch but as Macklin says. It's his skills that makes him the elite fighter who he is.

    Compare AA's resume to GG's.

Abraham would look like SRR against GG's opponents.

    :rofl:nut:patsch
Step away from the balls nutthugger.

GG's jab is perfect against half-dead bums.

Abraham fan here but this is absolutely nonsense.

Abraham had no where near the skills of Golovkin. His defence was just plod around with his hands on turtle shell 2.30 seconds of the each round and his offensive arsenal was not as versatile than Golovkin.
I agree that Abraham was stronger and hit harder but his boxing ability was not good at all. Abraham was still bad ass middleweight.:smoke

AA would have laid Adama on his face.

Abraham fought HIGHER LEVEL COMP than GG.:deal..There is no disputing it.

AA would look like a combination of SRR and RJJ against GG's competitiion.

ALWAYS consider the level of comp:hi:

FFS how has GGG got so much **** for last night, he beat a tough guy in 7 who was never stopped! i told everyone it would be mid rounds not early, GGG wasn't even at his best last night to me he looked unmotivated this is a guy who destroyed Macklin in 3 and Macklin was at the time easily at top 7 or 8 guy in the division. WTF is it that if GGG doesn't win inside 3 he fought **** or something, he got stick after the Stevenson fight despite not loosing a round and getting the stoppage. GGG would destroy Abraham batter him around the ring. If GGG is so beatable why doesn't the other MW champions face him it would be such a big win for them so if he is really all hype why has nobody fought him?

GG did not beat a tough guy...he beat a can that HBO didn't even want to air.

AA fought at a much higher level than GG

    Just compare resumes:deal

AA would have a manslaughter charge against him if he fought Adama.

Here you are, stalker. WHat's wrong with you or your life that generates fun for you out of hatred. Do you think it's healthy to hate somebody and leach energy out of this? :hi: I mean you can equally like Golovkin or simply ignore him, but what about him to dislike? If yoiu talk about his obnoxious fans, but aren't you the most obnoxious fan of him here, posting in every thread that mentions GGG name? :patsch
