Rahman showed some promise until he came off the ropes into Jack O'Halloran's right hand.

 

Well, he knocked out Lennox Lewis.

 

So did Rudy Clay actually join the NOI, or did he just follow suit with his brother's name change as branding to capitalize on his popularity?

He joined the NOI first I believe, certainly publicly before M.Ali. The brothers were very close.

 

His record was 13-3-1 with 6 knockouts, tried out for the Olympic team in 1960, the same year as M.Ali but didn't make it. Certainly no 'bum'

 

Is he alive?
