Ward's best win are against old Calslappy left over, at home, in front of his few friends and family with his personnal ref, juges and pharmacists. GGG is not only has good, he is becoming the #1 boxing superstar in the world.
Must be sarcasm. AA isn't/wasn't quicker, isn't/wasn't better, doesn't/didn't have a better jab and didn't fight any particularly live bodies at 160.
Abraham was an average European level paper champ at Middleweight who fought bums in Germany, however, his handlers made the mistake of thinking he was actually a real World class fighter so moved him up in weight and entered him in the Super 6, where he duly got totally outclassed when he fought some genuine World level fighters. The end.
One flaw he doesn't share is he's not a poor boxer with underdeveloped instincts, boxing by numbers Wegner style
WTF?! I remember Teddy Atlas talking about the Ward/ Abraham fight (I think it was the friday night fights the week after), and he was saying "Why can't Abraham throw a straight punch?! I've never seen anybody at his level not be able to." Abraham had some power, he was tough, but one of the crudest guys I've ever seen. Also for most of his career, until the super 6, he was pretty protected. I'm not going to say GGG is P4P #1 in the world, I'm not so sure he has got the opposition to even acheive that, but he damn sure isn't Abraham. Abrahmam should be pleased if he was called "A poor mans GGG", or he should feel humble if GGG calls him "a good boy"
One thing you can't argue with is that Ward had the supersix to show what's he's capable of and grow from fight to fight. GGG does not have such a luxury. Agreed?
The power is even different. The only thing they have in common is both have first and last names that start with the same letter, AA & GG **** poor comparison as these guys have opposite styles and GG has loads more talent.
