How the hell are comparing those fights,

    1. one if i remember correctly is stopped around round 5 not later on
    2. No towel was thrown in - Groves fight
    3. Groves beat up froch far worse than what Froch did to Groves
    4. Groves was still throwing back - got hit with 2 good punches..
    ------------

For all those saying oscar is overrated - maybe at the start but not now, look at who he has fought, Mosley x 2, Ike Quartey, Sweat Pea, Chavez, Trinidad, Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Vargas (on steroids), Sturm.

He clearly won the second mosley (who was on PED's) fight and Trinidad Fight, but lost to Sturm and No he didn't quit vs Hopkins.

    your not seeing the point.

Mayweather cant be overrated because his skills back it up. he doesnt get touched, hes the most accurate boxer in the last 20 years, his skills say it all. DLH got much hyped but lost his biggest fights. he got way more hype then mayweather ever did but his skills were no where near Mayweathers ever! so that ends up making DLH overrhyped.

I agree with the thread starter, for as many big fights that he had, DLH never delivered on the big stage.
For as big a PPV star that he was, truly it points to how he along with Arum worked great in promoting the image of "Golden Boy."

They worked great promoting that image, but when you think about it, its really not that big a task when you consider that the 99% of the audience are not really boxing fans.

and are too biased to be objective here.

I've already pointed out that Floyd has looked unbeatable due to his careful cherry-picking.

I've also pointed out that DLH also looked unbeatable when he fought the caliber of fighters Floyd has been fighting( Gatti, Hernandez, etc).

Do you really think anyone on FLoyd's resume would have beaten DLH?

Joe Calzaghe. The whales man fought bums for 3/4 of his career and finished it by facing punch drunk Jones and an old Hopkins.

Mosley already beat DLH, Cotto would be good, Judah would've been close, Canelo would be close. so yes i think theres fighters on Mayweather's resume that would be DLH.

If u think Cherry picking is the only reason Mayweather looks unbeatbale then YDKSAB!! if u dont see the defense, accuracy, speed then your just a hater so get over yourself

A year after fighting Calzaghe, Jones got blown away in the first round by Danny Green.

Calzaghe wanted no part of prime Jones, he said so himself and by the time fought Jones he even said that Jones was shot and fighting him was pointless.

Calzaghe fans are not the brightest.

Floyd's defense, accuracy and speed all look better when he's fighting no-hopers.

As for the rest of your post.

"Canelo/Juddah would be close" That adds so much irony to your YDKSAB line:deal
