George Groves believes Carl Froch is refusing to take part in the rematch because of the damage that might be involved in such a contest.

Groves said: "Froch knows that he not only can lose to me, but he can also take some serious damage".
"And he doesn't want to put himself in a fight like that".
"Froch can go into a fight with Andre Ward and lose every round, but he wont take any serious damage, but there will be serious damage involved with me".
"Froch is scared for this reason and does not want to fight, but i was kept IBF mandatory challenger, so he has no other choice but to take the fight or drop the title in disgrace".

I hope this fight does take place within the 90 days because i know Groves is aggrieved but i cant be bothered with the constant comments for too much longer.

Froch suffered for it fan wise in the build up, Groves is going someway to turning sympathy against him now.

Im not saying he isnt right but people will get annoyed by being told it time and again

Everything George has said is the truth, leading up to the fight and now after the fight. He was jobbed out of an opportunity to win a world title and Froch has done nothing but talk childish nonsense before and after the fight... Given these facts I think Groves has every right to say what he feels, and people who would like him to shut up because it is 'boring' need to realise that hadn't it been for his constant 'whining' then Froch would have most probably took the belt and ran as far away as possible from the rematch, it is because of Groves that we now have the big rivalry, it is because of Groves insistence and self determination that we have one of the most anticipated rematches in recent history, people need to remember that and realise that if it were up to Froch we wouldn't have the rematch at all.

Groves was jobbed out of a WORLD TITLE that isn't something that should be forgotten easily or ignored because 'it's getting boring' ffs.

Attention grabbing? Didnt Froch immediatly take to twitter to say Groves turned down his offer and made it look like a duck. Then the next day Groves wins his appeal with the IBF and makes Froch look like a twat.

As i said even if he is right, now he has got the rematch, if he carries on like this in the whole lead up to the fight then some of his fans will turn against him. Its just fact, whether people like to hear it or not and whether its desrved or not.

He got the rematch and was right to persist with that, now get it signed and get to camp and focus on doing what wasnt done the first time (for reasons we all know) and beat Froch

There's 2 sides to every story, you could say Froch was robbed of an amzing comeback and knockout...we wont know.
    But
Groves has got what he wanted by way of re-match and that's definately deserved...but stop whinging now and get on with it....

If it does go ahead and Froch wins, he'll be forever remembered for being the whinging kid that got the re-match got the money he wanted, got the referee he wanted etc etc..then got knocked out! lol

Groves turns down a 7 figure offer then wins the appeal which states he only gets 15%, that was a twat move. If Groves is going to go on like he has he should have accepted that offer, he had the opportunity to take the offer and he refused and will now get 15%.

Yer offers don't just come with a cash figure though do they, Hearn obviously had options attached that would have been unfavourable to Groves. The kid is not a mug, IBF have mandated the fight now so Groves is within his right to refuse Eddies offers and let this go to bids, which in all likelhood will reward him with a bigger purse than Eddies 'amazing 7 figure offer'...

If it goes to purse bids he may get 15% of 10 million or 15million. This fight is going to be huge. Either way it will be more than the million pounds Hearn offered him.

Plus Hearn never said what the offer was. It may have said Groves has to sign a 5 fight deal and receive no PPV money for the fight. If the offer eas great we woukd have seen it.

George needs the cash more than Froch. What with Oxfam putting up their prices and Georges suit and tie collection needing an update.
