Right up and until Ortiz turned 13 and parted ways with the same gym as Rios. Rios owned Ortiz in the ring. I don't see it being any different now. Ortiz still makes all the same mistakes and still has many of the same bad habits that he had then. Some have even gotten worse. Habits like jumping in and reaching with his punches. Victor still drops his right when he throws his left hook and the list goes on. One last thing. Victor does poorly against anyone who has a good or better left hook than his. Rio's left hook is off the chart.

 

I hope Victor takes his winnings and retires.

 

Ortrees was a pretty good fighter but has totally lost his way since getting schooled by Floyd. Going into that fight the vicious one was on a high point in his career and was completely confident in his abilities. Rios on the other hand was coming of a bad lose. Victor is a bigger, better and faster boxer. Toughness obviously goes to bam bam but given the skill level and slight mental edge I gotta go with Ortrees by UD

 

Rios in a stoppage no doubt. Neither boxer is too bright in the ring. However, Rios has one of the best chins I have seen. He can take an absolute beating. The same can not be said for Ortiz.

Ortiz is the better boxer, but he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. I don't see him sticking with a game plan. This fight would inevitably turn into a war. That is when Rios would have the big edge, because he has such heart. He can take a beating and he seems to enjoy taking a beating. Ortiz would eventually break down and it would end in a stoppage one way or another. Obviously, with Ortiz, there are many ways this could come to an end.

 

Rios would take some punishment but he would eventually make Ortiz quit.

 

Now that's a fight!

Fans & boxer's alike need to point him towards Pacquiao and leave it at that...
