    That will be stupid

Broner was also undisciplined for doing that, if he had issues skipping meals at 130, 135 was the max, 140 at worse. I have no sympathy for idiots who think PEDs help them preform better. As an unintended or even worse intended side effect they gain more muscle mass & end up unable to make the weight...Lots of airheads wondering why they can't make weight anymore :patsch

Even PEDs that are advertised to be "Stamina/endurance" eventually build up mass gains, those gains prevent them from making weight, so they try to go the high route and go All Armstrong :yep

Abner Mares & Broner are good examples of how PEDs can throw decent boxers into a weight class where they will literally get beatdown

He will fight Kirkland, Geale or Lee in April, after that probably the winner of Martinez/Cotto. Golovkin will knock Martinez out and he will knock out any of the three above.

If getting the other champions into a ring is so easy, then why has HBO had such a hard time getting Golovkin fights? You can't hold a gun on them and make them fight.....................so make those fights, Golovkin Vs. Martinez, Quillin, Sturm, etc..........

Ab jumped two weight classes because he was weight drained in the lower ones and had a lot of size advantage over his opponents.
To make a comparison, is like GGG fighting at welter and then "jumping" to middle.
Not really impressive, expecially considering Broner already lost in the lower weight classes and he was a paper champion.

At his natural weight class, he has no power nor chin.

Actually, his chin is weaker than Amir Khan's one.

    'Nuff said.

Broner only moved up to his natural weight class. That's not a legitimate weight jump.

You guys have it all twisted. GGG is matured and is a natural MW who someday move up SMW. Broner as a LW was quickly outgrowing the division but he does not have what the old-timers call his man muscles yet. The guy has just not developed into a WW . . . he may have the size but he doesnt have the strength yet. In hind sight was it a dumb move for him to Jump JWW . . . yes. But if he were successful in that transition the rewards would have been tenfold. Floyd has 2 years left before he retires, by moving up to WW and continue to win he would have rose up off of PBF coattails (even more than he did) and almost become a natural extension of floyds career. Who knows it could have lead to a mega fight where floyd came out of retirement to face the guy who supposedly took over his place. Could you imagine? a fight between the two most villianized fighters in the sport where someone 0 had to go? it could have been bigger than floyd/oscar. By that time people would have been missing floyd and saying that Broner is no Money and be begging for him to come back and teach this kid a lesson

He ain't really small for a MW -fairly average really, it's more that there's a good number of JMWs and some MWs (Love, Quillin and most obviously until recently JCC Jr) who rehydrate excessively - specially the younger guys. Lotta JMWs fight heavier than GGG as a matter of routine, but it gets harder and more stressful on the body the older they get.

147 ain't realistic - 154 is do-able but the reasons have more to do with history than anything - in Germany where GGG spent most of his career, the biggest stars on the horizon were MWs Sturm, Abrahams perhaps, maybe some of the British crop - not much at JMW. 160 was where he got his strap and the rest followed from there. I suppose he coulda dropped down to 54 when the decision was made to relocate to the US but what draw did he have except his strap - also, of course he was reaching an age where it becomes more difficult to drain and make the big rehydrations. Occasionally it might make sense for the right payday, but not when fighting 4 times a year.

Did Ward make them an offer whilst I wasn't looking?

He hasn't offered a fight, just kinda said 'don't bring my name up if you're not putting anything on the table' which is kinda fair enough, but Sanchez was only rsponding to the same kinda journalistic nonsense that's getting 'Dre annoyed.

Both parties have said it's a fight for later. GGG ain't even top dog at 160 yet. Ward's just mainly getting irritated that people are continually asking him about GGG when the fight ain't even on the horizon yet.

Fans are always gonna be excited about one fighter or another and some produce excessive hyperbole - if you 'can't stand it' you should probably be on the classic forum. TBH it's something I find quite tedious myself, but having toiled through hundreds of pointless pages of rubbish I've come to realise that the vast majority of excessive hype (surrounding every popular fighter) is produced by a very small number of either misguided fans or deliberate trolls.

What do you want folk to do? Keep talking about Floyd, Manny and Wlad for another 5 years?
