Froch has seemed to be afraid of a rematch, doing all he can to prevent it from happening. There must be a reason for such.............

Thats exactly what it is "Your Opinion"

He didn't beat the crap out of anybody for 8 rounds, he had dropped Froch in the 1st, and was outboxing him and winning rounds.By the 6th round Groves was blowing out his arse.

Thats why so many people are exagerating about Groves success, because they DIDN'T EXPECT IT. Go back and look at my prediction, i said Groves would win the early rounds and may also hurt Froch, but i said i thought Froch would get to him and stop him by the 8th. Bull**** stoppage or not, Groves was tiring and Froch was coming on and starting to land.

Groves threw everything he had at Froch, and in all honesty the pace of the fight wasn't that high. Groves does not have the engine to fight at any kind of pace for 12 rounds. In the rematch Froch won't be complacent, and its unlikely he'll be dropped in the 1st and have to chase the fight, and Groves WILL tire in the second half of the fight, and then we'll see what he's got.

Groves is the one who keeps appealing and appealing and turning down offers.

Hmm, yeah Froch is the one who is running

I'm thinking the rematch would go a bit like this too. He literally threw the kitchen sink at Froch and still couldn't stop him. Also I agree that Groves lacks the engine to go the full 12 rounds with Froch. He was visibility getting tired at the 8th/9th rounds and was starting to get hit with shots he was missing earlier. Froch has great stamina and durability, he has a way of wearing his opponents down. Unless Groves can pace himself properly then he'll get into hot water sooner or later. This will test his metal big time.

If Froch is so worried he shouldn't have offered Groves a million pound to fight him again.

Why do people think Groves did not want to give Hearn options on him? The only way he can be on UK PPV is with Hearn, so seems like he's holding a grudge because he somehow thinks Hearn fixed the first result, which seems a bit childish.

Why is the thread a joke do you not remember how the first fight went?

And i wouldn't say it's laughable Froch would run from anyone. Froch clearly doesn't want this fight as he said himself on Ringside it doesn't motivate him. Froch has been too quiet in all this and the only time we heard from him was when he made out Groves never wanted the fight which backfired on him the next day as the IBF ordered Groves the rematch.

He wasn't ever going to sign the rematch the day after the fight was he? He's offered it now, hasn't he?

The money he offered Groves was more than 15%. Hearn said the offer was 25%, but Groves didn't want to re-sign with Hearn for some reason. How else will he get on UK PPV? I'm sure Hearn would deliver any foreign fight Groves wanted too.

I'm guessing Groves does not want a further rematch option. So if he beats Froch he certainly wouldn't give him a rematch. Cant think of any other reason. Dunno what anyone else thinks?

Froch said the Groves fight didn't motivate him only a couple of weeks ago on Ringside. But don't forget Froch said at ringside after the fight he wanted the rematch, but that was just to get the fans to stop booing him IMO.

The offer Hearn made Groves was apparently 'seven figures', but it was a multi fight deal. Including a rematch clause with Froch, so basically if George beats Froch he has to fight him again on Hearns terms that is part of the deal.

So you cant blame Groves for holding out for purse bids to maximise his 15% because that's what is better for him since Froch and Hearn are trying lowball him and make a fortune out of him.
Lets be honest Froch WILL NOT make anywhere near the sort of cash with another opponent than he would with Groves.
And Groves would certainly give Froch a rematch if the money was right.

    So what would you do?

No-where was it said that Groves would get the same money for a rematch of the rematch - that's your guess, as an excuse. The offer seems to have been 7 figures for the one fight. Not 7 figures for each of the deal options. Even if it was 7 figures on the contract as you say - how do you know it would be the same 7 figures?

Look i have made it perfectly clear.

Do you honestly think Hearn has offered Groves £1 million for the Froch rematch with no terms?

Put it this way would you give me a £20 note for a £10 note?
