So looks like Deontay Wilder will be fighting Malik Scott on the under card of the Garcia fight. I have a good feeling that Malik Scott will outbox Wilder if he can get through the early rounds. This is going to be a good test for both fighters. :yep
Wilder KO, if chisora can put scott on the floor (regardless of the count) then I'd be surprised if wilder can't put him down and keep him there.
chisora is better the wilder imo... but power wise it seems like wilder may have an advantage. but how would i kno or anyone kno he fights guys that dont belong in the ring with him. and for the first time hes fighting some that is.
Where did I say they fight the same? I'm stating that if chisora has the power to put scott down then so does wilder...
Wilder wins. Scotty might outbox Windmiller for a couple of rounds, but odds are he will get caught sometime. And losing by 9 count to Chisora who doesn't have near the power Wilder has doesn't bode well for him.
Love how people are comparing Wilder to Chisora, their fighting style is totally different, their approach is completely different, Chisora is an in your face character where Deontay Wilder is.. well, just wilder, pun intended. Malik Scott has no power, he needs to get his respect early, or he'll probably end up TKO'd at some point.
Wilder wins and wins easy, and all we find out is that he has a big punch and Scott has a glass chin and glass heart, and Wilder learns nothing while his fanboys hype up the win to godlike proportions all things we already know, Wilder is a disaster waiting to happen, Scott ain't the man to make it happen though, looks nice on paper though
We're not comparing style, we're comparing power. if you can't take Chisora's punch properly, you're in big trouble when windmiller lands
It wasn't necessarily "the power" that did him in vs. Chisora, it was the constant pressure. Go back and watch the fight again.
I remember thinking to myself "It's too hot in the kitchen for Malik Scott". He was up at 9 or whatever, but he looked like he had quit, mentally.
His reaction to the pressure was worrying enough (he REALLY didn't like it) but going down from that shot sealed the deal, he is extremely vulnerable
