[yt]aYFqvXUwVjM[/yt] Great fight but Amir cleared handed Maidana his ass. Look at Khan put Maidana on his ass, good Grief watching it again makes me just Wow. He's incredibly fast
he did not 'kick his ass' but rather survived Maidana 3 years ago. Maidana has since become better, and Khan seems to have been faded and found out.
Survived the 10th round against one of the biggest punchers in the sport despite having 'The biggest glass jaw in boxing' And what? He didn't get dropped and faced a man who everyone said would knock him out. Instead Khan dropped him LOL! For them first 8 round it was an ass kicking. Boxed his ass off. Don't try and take it away from him by saying "uh he survived" Just sounds ignorant.
Dismantling a media hype does'nt equate to being better. Maidana's style is easy pickings for Mayweather especially when you consider that Maidana is extremely slow. Next to Canelo, Maidana would make Canelo look like Ray Leonard.
maidana has gotten better and genghglass khan has gotten worse!!! if they fought today there would be shattered glass all over the place!!
if the weights were square and mayweather asked the question "who would the fans prefer me fight?" three years ago then you would have a point, but things have changed in three years. khan is coming off three non descript at best, terrible at worst showings, whereas maidana is riding a wave of good wins. this isn't three years ago.
Nah. He kinda did survive it. He looked great early on, but as Maidana started to catch up with him, Khan was in survival mode for many stretches. It ended up being a very close fight. And all the momentum was in Maidana's favor. He did manage to stay on his feet though.
Khan and Maidana could knock Pac out cold with one shot. I'd bet on both that they could too...and I don't bet lmao.
He beat Maidana by the skin of his teeth. I think I may have had Khan winning by two or three points but he was lucky he wasn't stopped. Anyway Maidana looks to have improved and Khan looks to have gone backwards recently. Neither is the best challenger to be honest.
That fight could have gone either way,and Amir was at his absolute peak.Lucky and showed extreme skill and bravery to survive that last round.Since then I think he's gone back.I don't think Maidana is any better,he's just a tough fight for anybody.Top level, win some lose some, but not an improved fighter. Not beyond the bounds of possibility that Broner beats him in a return. But if they fight now,my guess is he knocks Amir out.Hypothetical though,as it won't happen.Amir either fights Mayweather,or less likely Brook{if Kell gets no title shot}then retires.
