    are you kidding me...last time Floyd fought a fighter who came from 140, won a belt at 147, then fought him at 147...they cried like he was a featherweight.

    Danny has to fight at 147 and win impressively against top talent for Floyd to even get a little credit.

    A few observations:

    1. The reason this fight is not happening because Garcia does not think this is the right time to fight pbf.

    2. I don't understand why people are focusing on the weight differential. These two are similar enough in size. Khan has not proven himself to be a welterweight and he is likely to fight floyd next. The other possible fight for pbf is Maidana. Maidana's best win at 147 is Soto Karass. Broner is a good win but I am not sold on him as a 147 pounder. Size difference is not legitimate reason that this fight isn't happening.

    3. Lastly, why are people so offended I did not know the reason before I started this thread. That is the reason I started the thread. I have a job and a family, there are interviews with fighters and trainers that I miss. Was it not clear from the opening post that I was sure there was some explanation for this but didn't know what it is. Name calling and wiseass comments are lame when the person making the joke is some dude that would never say **** like that if we were just sitting around a table bullshitting about boxing. If people acted more like normal people talking at a social event the content of these threads would be more interesting and enlightening.
