Everybody wants to fight Floyd Mayweather? Your only talking in present tense my friend and not exactly to what the question of the title of article is asking. Truth be told, before the DeLahoya fight, nobody wanted to fight Mayweather. Especially after the Gatti fight and before it where he was a beast of a fighter at 130-140.

Nobody would go near him after he dissected and destroyed a young unbeaten Diego Corrales, who alot of people picked to beat him. Mayweather offered to fight Prince Naseem Hamed with his own 130 lb title on the line at a reasonable catchweight of 128 lbs and even HBO's Larry Merchant told Mayweather during the postfight interview that Prince was not going to fight him after the way he had just destroyed Corrales. "Popo" Freitas wanted no part of him and Cassamayor by overpricing himself for Mayweather wanted no part of him.

Bob Arum made damn sure that Barrera, especially after he beat Prince, went nowhere near Floyd and kept Morales away as well, just as he would Cotto later on. And Shane Mosley moved up from 135 to 147 two years before Mayweather fought Corrales and during Shane's tenure as champion at 135 never called out Mayweather.

And people can make all they want out of the first fight between Mayweather-CastilloI but at least Floyd gave him an immediate rematch 8-months after and beat him more decisively.

And amongst another list of names that Floyd called out but didn't get a call back on, Kostya, Cory Spinks, Ricardo Mayorga to name a few. Those guys were glad that Floyd was fighting south of their division at the time.

You tards and your videos . . . Lol. Can u guys come up with a single idea on your on. YES, history shows that it was PAC who wallked away over a couple drops of blood. I wish y'all understood the history of the sport and you would realize that is during the Mega fight Negos is when new standards and protocols come into play in the sport. When Tyson asked evander for drug testing he rolled up his sleave. When SRL asked MMH for thumbless gloves haglar did make 1001 excuses why he could not wear those gloves. Hell Floyd didn't walk away when PAC demanded 10mill/lb penalty. At the end of the day PAC never wanted the fight.

No matter what type of case you guys try to make for pac, as great as he is, Floyd will be rated higher to both the hardcore and casual fan.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

He called out Pacquiao as well... Even called him a fake, and not a peep from him either.
