Groves is just a ****ing crybaby, he didnt dominate the fight as much as he thinks, it was even in my eyes when it was stopped.

Truth be told I want Froch to fight him again just to put this whole thing to rest

Exactly this! It wasn't a one sided domination at all! Groves had Froch over the first 6 rounds but Froch was actually getting stronger and Groves was fading by the time of the stoppage. Got an awful lot of supposed boxing fans giving a very messed up account of proceedings in that fight. Groves was in real trouble when the ref jumped in. Enough to stop it? maybe not but Groves got clocked by a couple of monster right hands. If he as so dominant like Mayweather or Ward type of dominant fine, but he clearly wasn't and Froch was in with a chance of genuinely ending it.

Groves tank was pretty much empty. He may or may not have got to the final bell, but let's not make up stories about Groves being in this one sided dominant schooling of Froch. It really wasn't and Froch didn't look like going down at all since that first round knock down.

Got some strange boxing experts on these boards I tell you that much. :patsch

Anyone else remember that photo of the Lonsdale belt in a bin?

    Hopefully this appeal goes nowhere

Exactly, the swelling on his face shows how much damage Froch was putting on him. I dont agree with the stoppage and thought it was premature but British refs have been so finnicky since the Mcllellan/Watson fights that I think theyre scared of leaving a fight go on for too long. (Well the BBBofC are too afraid of getting sued again)

Groves wouldnt have made it to the final bell and Froch was on his way to stopping him either way

You can't say this unless you have a magic crystal ball. Groves was fading, but it didn't look like he was about to be stopped at the time of the stoppage... Everything else is pure speculation.

Carl Froch is a true born Gladiator
    if u disagree, you're a pathetic hater

to me froch is number 1 p4p
    actually entertains the fight fans
keeps his hands low like a boss
    never made the chicken dance
comes back stronger from a loss
made it his mission to fight the best in the division

the intense training began When Carl Froch was just a young lad
apart from the cycling and runs he began hardening his
face by tapping his nose and chin with a small tea spoon , sometimes
for half an hour and sometimes longer 1 or 2 hours straight, depending on what other chores he had to do that day
(He was always very determined in life to do great things)
Along the years the tapping on the nose became harder and the tea spoon got replaced with a slightly bigger tea spoon, and then later into a regular spoon and then a big spoon ... by the time Carl Froch had aged into a man the spoon had become a frying pan..the face had become indestructable! and he did not require many seconds to shrug of the effect of the numerous blows he absorbed in sparring..

one day as we all know he joined up with robert McCracken who saw the great potential in Carl
and the rest is history... all hail Carl Froch the King of England and P4P number 1

Mikkel Kessler :epic battle CF avenged his first "defeat"(draw if u ask me)

    Bute : Brutal TKO

"RoadWarrior"Johnson : Froch felt pitty for old GJ thats why he didnt KO him

AA : absolute shutout, ppl made froch the underdog..said he would loose

Kessler :best fight i ever saw, back then i said froch would win if a 2nd fight

Taylor: Froch showed his heart was made of steel as he KO'd taylor in rd 12

Pascal: Epic battle, Pascal didnt know what hit him and Froch took the belt

    Reid RTD

    Dodson Devastating KO victory

and dont forget Brian Magee , that was another epic KO victory
they gave Magee an oxygen mask on and carried him out on a stretcher after the lethal venomous uppercut ! the cobra delivered a great KO that
will remain in the history of boxing and is added it to his impressive
    KO record.

implying that froch is not P4P is ludacris , what has ward (current p4p nr 2?) done apart from headbutt
kessler into a bad stoppage struggle with abraham
(who froch took apart without getting out of 2nd gear) and then edge a win over froch who was coming on
strong in the late rounds where ward seemed to tire? what has ward done ? not to mention ward has fought all his
significant fights in the USA with everything in his favour, not once stepping out of his comfort zone...also
postponing the super6 final due to a minor scratch on his forehead , and then claiming he fought the
final with a broken hand ... wouldnt that be more of a reason to reschedule the fight???

Im pretty sure if the tables was turned and Ward faced Froch in UK
the result wouldnt be anything like that night in AC
(same goes for Ward-Kessler II in copenhagen)
