if YOU really followed this sport you would know floyd TRIED to fight manny in 2010 and gave manny an option to fight in 2012 i go off what i see and he has NEVER ducked ANYONE, to be ducked you e to be the #1 contender and champion rather be stripped than fight. NEVER came close to happening.

Floyd is the ONLY fighter that has taken on the real champ in EVERY division, maybe not at 140, too briefly there but every other division. go ahead try disputing it and at 140 he canNOT make people fight him.. see manny, he refused so whats floyd supposed to do ?

Pacquiao ranks above Floyd - and before you say, no am not a pacquiao fan, he has fought better fighters taken on bigger challenges, he wouldnt have gone into retirement either in 07 when the WW was heating up.

Top 50 is even too much credit for his resume and accomplishments. I'd have him way lower.

Why's Manny even being mentioned? Are you insecure that you always want to compare him to Floyd?

Personally I don't think they're all that far apart and at least Pac has the balls to risking losing, which is more than I can say about Floyd.

Well said,Floyds opponents are no-where near as good as SRL,i'd have him much lower than SRL & that's fair.Hells bells he should have @ least faced Pacman.SRL I will always look upto, much more than Floyd cos of hand picked & who he fights.

    Ray Robinson
    Jack Dempsey
    Jack Johnson
    Jim Jeffries
    Jack Lamotta
    Tony Zale

They all avoided plenty of fights.

It's ironic though that most of the people on forums who talk about avoiding fights have never even had the balls to step in the ring.

Im with ya bro! He tried to make that fight so for someone to say thats the reason why u cant rank him high when he 45-0 with only 1 close fight then there nuts!

plus wether some people wanna say he fought easy opposition or whatever, he fought the REAL champ in every weight class expect for 140 because Hatton ducked that fight (Watched gatti get brutalized ringside and said screw that!! I wouldve too!!) otherwise he would lineal champ in 5 weight classes.

Hes just one of the ATG's and people need to deal with it.

I agree with some of the other names you mentioned but why are these two deserving?

cotto is 1-2 in his last 3, one of which was against mayweather and his last fight was against rodriguez (probably a lesser fight or on par with diaz vs khan)

kirkland is a thug who time and again has thrown away his career. he also has no skills bar his power and raw aggression and has a pretty thin resume

khan is just as worthy as those 2 and brings more money than most, except for cotto and pacquiao

for the record, I'd rather see mayweather-garcia but garcia himself ruled it out. or a carlos molina fight, a guy who really deserves it, but that has no chance of happening
