Khan and Maidana have resumes much better than Lee's. I'm not that upset about the fight really, but don't get carried away
But GGG isn't p4p #1 and Khan hasn't looked much better than Lee lately. If Floyd can fight those guys then surely someone who is unproven and isn't top 10 p4p should be able to fight Lee? Especially when there aren't too many other opponents available and willing
They say Geale has never been afraid of fighting GGG? Um, how about when he gave up the WBA super belt rather than fight him? It's a shame Geale won't be in the ring in April. I'm sure he will have an excuse for the July fight, too.
Come on. It's probably going to be Maidana and that's a huge mismatch in Floyd's favor. Ignore the resume, look at the match. Easy work and everyone acts like it is a good fight. Maidana will give Mayweather about the same competition Lee will give GGG. Both are fights about which to complain, and Floyd is #1, so such an easy matchup is even more annoying.
I already said I didn't have an issue with the Lee fight. Just saying that Lee hasn't accomplished what Maidana or Khan has.
Lee's best win is Vera the second time around. That's not actually a bad W, given what Vera's been able to accomplish...but yeah, by comparison Chino and Khan have accomplished much, much more.
