If it's true that Andy is fighting GGG, then this is a very bad move.

Anthony Fitzgerald is off the bill as well, neck injury still giving his hassle.

    HNN, finally? :think

...or by "he" do you mean GGG? In which case the above still applies. :yep

HNN would box rings around Andy and win by wide points decision or late stoppage. Andys only chance against HNN would be a one-punch ko, cos HNN will get up from a knockdown and continue, as he has proven.

As regards GGG, Andy has nothing, absolutely nothing to trouble GGG. Brutal, pointless ko loss for Andy. Fat lot of good that will do him.

Stephen Ormond's on the Carl Frampton April bill. Puts back any potential Dublin bill to May, which could well be headlined by ESB fave Lukekiko.

I think you're even understating it a bit, tbh. What's the point? To last longer than Macklin did? I love Andy Lee, and still think that we haven't seen his best work, but this is mental.

Not trying to start a row with you Fra cos I know you are a genuine fan.

But think about it - what is Andys best win?
Lets be honest he just isnt top level, is he?
Even if he is as good a boxer as a given opponent, it doesnt matter cos he gasses after about 6-7 rounds. HNN is incredibly athletic, can dance and punch non-stop for full 12. HNN is tough too - got up, what, 6 times against Quillin. Even if Andy could hold his own with HNN for 5 - 6 rounds, after that its gonna be all HNN....
Its no good talking about the Quillin fight for comparison. What you forget is that HNN out-boxed PQ in all the rounds he wasnt knocked down. The scoring was garbage. Even with 6 knockdowns PQ was very lucky to win. Also HNN made simple - easily correctable mistakes in that fight and will have corrected those flaws by now - just by keeping his right glove up he could nave avoided about 3 or 4 of those knockdowns -so again no good to Andy.

As for GGG - forget about it!
    :good
