LOL, so basically this the 2014 equivalent of : "And yes, Manny Pacquiao, you're next?"

Two months from now "Don't put words in my mouth"

floyd was promoting it by getting paqs name out there, i didnt know he came out and said you're next.. i remember him saying at a press conf or after a fight which a month later he offered 40m. i bet thats more than paq gonna get now..

i would only give him 25% which the challenger should get and NO ppv

Floyd was chasing Oscar since he was at 130 . . . he knew that it was his big chance. Floyd was mentioning Zu's name well before Brussells as well . . . just because this was the most easily accessed does not mean it was the only time . . . someone posted this on another board regarding this:

Floyd called out Kostya during a post fight interview with Merchant...at the time, Kostya was already in talks with Hatton, and had been in talks with Hatton for quite sometime for their bout. So, Kostya's preoccupation with Hatton prevented the fight from happening at that time.

As we all know, Kostya lost to Hatton so the focus shifted to a potential Floyd-Hatton bout at 140. Floyd challenged Hatton live on ESPN's FNF but the Hatton camp rejected they wanted NO PARTS of Floyd.

    So, Floyd pouned Gatti.

Secondly, Kostya was committed to Showtime -- so there was some network politics involved and it would have been super difficult to have the Floyd-Kostya fight come off....

Lastly, Floyd called out Kostya in the ring, TWICE during post fight interview with Larry Merchant... Post fight Jesus Chavez & Post fight Bruseles...

    There you have it.

This Floyd DUCKED Kostya thing is a lie. Some idiots on here just don't know their facts. Again.... It's complete bull****.

Chavez was 4 years earlier when he SFW kingpin and a week after he KOed Zab . . . I am pretty sure Zu was not injury ridden and was at his Peak when he fought Zab:deal

lots of pressure on paq to win now and i fully expect floyd to pick kahn.
stupid to puck maidana. dont want to go from wicked slow guy then to paq. better to have to deal with kahns speed them whoop paq.

i would bet my gf and my life floyd will have more trouble with kahn than paq. me 2 cents and its almost always spot on
