This is complete bollocks. Jeff Powell (Daily Mail) recycles the same '$200m mega fight' story every couple of months.

Top 25 atg right now. If he finishes his career 49-0 or 50-0 he will be a top 15 atg.

    No.

If there was anything serious going on about a potential fight, Pacquiao would have never said anything about charity because he'd be held to it by some and would make him look even stupider than if the fight didn't ever happen.

i see your agenda. Floyd is selling a different fight and he's dragging Pacquiao's name. and when Pac called him on his bluff. Mayweather suddenly stopped talking about him.

I say currently top 20 or maybe top 25 if I am being overly critical. If he retires undefeated I can see him in the top 15 based on the nostalgia factor. Boxers are usually underrated when they are active and overrated when they retired. That's just how it is.

    Top 15

Even if he retires undefeated the padding of his record is what keeps him in the 30-40 range ..

You don't think boxers get highly romanticized once their epoch has passed??? It happens all the time. If you don't agree on the exact spot he should be placed at now fine, but wherever you have him remember to add 5 spots or so for the nostalgia factor. It happens to all greats.

Some of the questions asked :

What's the hardest punch you have ever taken

    "One from Margarito "

What fight would you like to take back

    "Marquez fight "

What are the chances you will fight. Mayweather "

I'm willing to fight him anytime 24 hrs 7 days a week my lines are open he just has to call ,it's really up to him "

What's he up to now 20 top ten guys, 23? Doesn't Hopkins have about 30? And Robinson have 45?

Plus, are top ten guys still top ten guys since the division of the belts? Are we going by Ring Rankings because those have been pretty iffy since De La Hoya took over too?

Floyd is nowhere near 20. Probably top 50 and above.... ranks lower than pac when both fighters retire.

Mayweather would never lose to the Torrecampo's, the Singsurats, JMM or even Erik Morales's of the world. He ranks much higher all time.
