If he wanted to fix the poll he wouldn't have started one in the first place. He would have just signed for Khan just like he did Guerrero and Ortiz.

 

Mayweather obviously thought Khan was much more popular having all these followers etc., it was an attempt to legitimize their fight that backfired horribly.
Maybe delusional Khan was even in on it, thinking he would easily win such a popularity-contest.
Now Maidana is winning this thing and Floyd and Khan are in complete damage-control-mode, trying everything to fix the poll before it's too late.

Khan's tweeted about the poll a few times since then. He's got a much larger following on social media than Maidana.

 

The federations have been here for a long time and they're here to stay. Unification has also been here for a long time and will stay. If the fighters don't mind them and continue to unify, who are you to bark otherwise?

 

You might want to get over Pacquiao-Mayweather already. Everyone half sane already knows that Mayweather wants nothing to do with this fight.
