God you're a ******. No doubt black. How is it K2's fault that the WBO chose Boytsov to be their #1 when he couldn't even beat a guy like Leapai. I suggest you go look at the Louis era where contenders didn't even weigh 200 pounds and had double digit number of losses. Here let me help you since you're probably literally an 80 IQ idiot. http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=9027&cat=boxer Now bow down to your beautiful white champion.
Wlad should have ditch WBO belt, no one cares about it. Wlad should concentrate on winning WBC if they let him.
Leapai is very confident hes talking himself up big time...looks like this opponent is actually going to show up and try to win..this fight is going to be decent for about 4 or 5rds
do you know how much that says about you in real life? that you would say offensive **** online to someone that you wouldn't say to their face? if life sucks that bad that you need to do this **** online, then change what is broken in your life I was going to post this to you earlier, but I gave you the benefit of the doubt. I was wrong
Wlad is fighting a Samoan forklift driver How can anyone believe that K2 had nothing to do with a 10round fight that wasn't billed as an eliminator somehow producing the first WBO mandatory in years.
Wow, why are so many K2 fans racist? It seems that they dont even bother trying to hide it any more:bart
It would not be the first time that a mandatory had been ignored by a champ? Look what Vitali did to Stiverne . . . and Stiverne is legit by todays standards:deal
There is so much rubbish on this site. From racism claims warranted or not to the K2 hatred it's all getting so tired. it's simple, is Lepai a world beater set up to give Wlad the blockbuster fight he needs to gain more respect from the general public and boxing fans alike? no he isn't, but I also don't have any problem with wlad taking this fight. If Wlad fought once a year or once every 15 months like we've seen from other belt holders then yes people should show outrage over this fight, the fact is however he routinely fights 2-3 times a year and with that frequency there are going to be some less than world beating opponents but I'll take that anyday over inactivity
For what it's worth, Lepai beat a RING top 10 fighter, which is more than Wilder, Fury, Arreola, Chisora,Solis, Helenius, and Boystov himself have done. in 1993, 36 year old Journeyman/Sparring Partner 18-9 Jesse Ferguson upset Ray Mercer to get a crack at Bowe's crown. Mercer infamously tried to bribe Ferguson in the ring and criminal charges were pressed. What they were saying then: Bowe Heavy Favorite to Retain Titles : Boxing: Ferguson, who has lost four of his last six bouts, gets a shot because of upset over Mercer. WASHINGTON — Riddick Bowe will defend his International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Assn. heavyweight championships against Jesse Ferguson tonight, a match more indicative of the fragmented state of pro boxing than it is of Bowe's fitness as a champion SI article: Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, once paid Jesse Ferguson $2,000 a week to be his sparring partner. Last Saturday night in Washington, D.C., the current heavyweight champion, Riddick Bowe, generous to a fault, paid the 36-year-old Ferguson $500,000 for the same services, and Bowe made him work only three minutes and 17 seconds. Inflation is hell. When last seen, Ferguson was laid out on the canvas in RFK Stadium, which will hereafter be designated on tourist maps as the Tomb of the Unknown Heavyweight Contender. Ferguson's record since August 1985 is 10 defeats in 16 fights, which probably explains why Bowe made only $7 million for risking his title against the 42-1 underdog from Knightdale, N.C. Since winning the title from Evander Holyfield in November, Bowe has worked five minutes and 36 seconds. In February he earned $7 million for KO'ing old, flabby Michael Dokes—who had beaten Ferguson last July—in 2:19 of the first round. It's nice work if you can get it, but it's not going to make Bowe too popular with the Save the Whales people.
I have an answer... an average fighter who is gonna get badly beaten by Wlad. He is the WBO #1 ranked Heavyweight title challenger, which he should not be. He's 6' with a 75" reach, and 240+ Lbs. He has a record of 30-4-3 (24) and has been stopped twice. His most notable opponents- Travis Walker KO4 (Walker almost had Leapai out in the 4th before being stopped on his feet late in the round... B.S. if you ask me) Owen Beck KO6 Darnell Wilson W8 Kevin Johnson LKOby9 Denis Boytsov W10 Walker, Beck, and Wilson (a former average LHW) were pretty much washed up. Boytsov was undefeated but had no notable wins. Johnson stopped a washed up Bruce Seldon in 5 rounds and went 12 rounds with Vitali (losing every round). He stopped Leapali in 9 rounds and was later outboxed by Tyson Fury (losing 11 out of 12 rounds). If Leapai somehow defeats Wlad, Wlad should be ashamed. He really shouldn't even be fighting this guy.
Aquamoron is such a fitting name for you. I've always used Tyson's Ring ranking unless throwing something like a paper orgs ranking back in the face of people with double standards like yourself. Are you still upset you can't refute the numbers?
