Posted on both his twitter on FB feeds... Sick of all the behind the scenes bull**** in boxing.. I want to fight and don't care who, I want to get paid and live my life. Is that hard I need a good contracts lawyer to get me out of this bull**** I'm stuck in... Any suggestions??? I've said before that I didn't think Hatton was doing a very good job promoting Browne. A record of won 19 (KO 17) means he should be getting a lot of media attention, sadly he's not. Bryant Jennings won 18 (KO 10) gets more column inches and IMO this is wrong. Browne needs to quit Aus and get over to the UK, where hopefully he'll be picked up by ******, Hearn or even Goodwin or Hennesy.
Hatton does seem to be struggling as a promoter, not sure why as he has links with GBP and Wa rren...but then he isnt putting on many domestic shows, only a few in the last year or so which i guess hasnt helped
Hatton problem is he shouldn't promote Murray and Browne he just cant get them the fights they deserve. Think his big passion is taking on rookies and building there record and profiles. Think he could do well at this and then pass them on to the big boys. Am I the only one who thinks his fave is Sergey Rabchenko
I like Browne but he probably isn't going any higher than Commonwealth level. Is he based in the UK or Australia?
just watch what you say around wake up call he works for wicky allegedly and does his dirty work :yep
Not going to lie, title of thread put me in a giggling fit. (picture Ricky chasing Lucas with a salad fork in each hand, wearing a bib, tongue wagging...)
Browne is a very likable guy... clearly not a cream of the crop HW, but he's exciting and wants to fight the best. Also if you factor in his late start in boxing he's done pretty well for himself.
Hatton started the promotions as a tax loss from what i was told. He's never really been that interested in the promotions IMO and i've always felt the comeback was to get not only himself back out of the dumps but also to get a TV deal because of the lack of a star. Quigg and Murray are good fighters but at that time not stars and not enough to keep him on TV. I think since that failed attempt he's just totally lost his way and Eddie's extended a olive branch and i think he'd be best letting his main men go because he's holding them back. I think Browne could do what Bellew did with Frank and use a breakdown in relationship to get out of the contract..
