I have a question, who is Alex Leapai?

He's ranked No 1 by the WBO, and he's the mandatory.

Who said he would have to vacate the belt? Did the WBO tell you they would strip Wlad if he rejected the fight?

If you think they would strip him and lose all the money thay make fom him just holding it, you live in a land of naivety. The WBO practically work for K2. How do you think Boystov got to #1 even when he pulled out of fights with two guys from the top 10 and beat nobody from the top 15.

Wlad wants this easy fight. He can get away with fighting annybody in Germany. Anybody who isn't a k2 nuthugger can see that.

I've honestly thought for years that Wlad should dump all the belts from these organizations. For years we've debated the legitimacy of this belt versus that belt and the relative corruptness of the organization.

Wlad is the universally recognized Heavyweight champion just dump the belts and fight the next guy in line. the only problem is there has to be a way to figure out who that next challenger is. Any ratings org seems to have bias so it gets convoluted

in a perfect world I'm all for ditching the belts but it will never happen there is too much money flowing through these different orgs to have that happen.

I'm a wlad fan and I've said on here that I was disgusted with his last fight and I would love to see him fight a top fighter in his pre clinch style

Wlad is nothing more than an alphabet champion.

He will never be the peoples champion.

yeah the round was over, they should have def let this fight go to round 5, I think Walker punched himself out hard that round and I'd like to have seen what he could have brought in the next round

The round wasn't over. There were 10 seconds left and the only thing that could have happened was Walker taking more damage.

sorry the literal police are out in force today....the round was "basically" over and Walker wouldn't absorbed any more punishment than Leapai took from him over the previous 2 minutes....

let the fight go, if you want give him a standing 8 count. I think refs are far to quick to decide the fight

If you've followed the career of Walker then you'd know that stoppage was for his own good.... Walker has one of the worst chins at HW...

    No. Tell me.

Who says I wouldn't say it to their face?

Life is pretty good. Insulting dickheads makes it even a little better.

I'm pretty sure they would. That's the whole point of mandatory defenses.

Probably the same way Wilder got to #3 in the WBC.

It should be an easy fight and Wlad will make probably make good money on it.

Don't worry. Wlad wants the WBC belt and will have to fight Pulev soon enough.
