I thought if Pacquiao took the test that he would get beat up like the rest?

very good point, but yes floyd and sometimes paq are held to standards never heard of before. i dont understand how they get so much hate, especially floyd, he gets so much hate it commical. most of the hate comes from inferior fighters fans..

NO ONE has fought the amount of champions and true #1 fighters in divisions as floyd, and its not even close. he has fought like 20 phukim champs

people do need to get a grip. truth is in america for some reason they hate the very best the most. they want the best of everything to fail badly at some point then if they come back again they are gods. its that way because it makes a better story. not for me, it makes a worse story

people in my country USA are phukin stupid. its true, if you fail and come back its some feat....which is ******ed, not failing at all is worse than failing here

I think most people don't realize just how hard it is to win a world title in boxing. Even with all the belts, it's still very difficult. Even being on HBO or Showtime is a tough task. The guys we see fight all the time are at th top of their craft.

    eaxtly,
going 2 real rounds on a heavybag would almost kill 90% of people,, nevermind actual sparring a real boxer

I knew some way or another you'd twist this into the GGG thing.

My thoughts on the current world titles in boxing today.

It's very difficult to win a world title no doubt but,the some guys that hold the belts don't really make them the man to beat or add value to the belt .

How many guys just hold belts ,are happy to win a belt then drop it not defend it based on politics .Look at the Lamont Peterson situation.I mean you got a guy who says his belt is worthless then when you look at the circumstances around how he got the belt ,it loses credibility and value .

Some of the guys that hold the belt are not really at the top of their craft . Some milk the title and weaken it .Other guys pick up belts with out having to win them ..

World titles don't mean as much as it use to . With any luck it changes soon.

Yet, the guy he supposedly SHOULD be fighting can't get a clean win over or gets stopped by fighters who are levels below Floyd. Floyd is in a division ripe with cherries. It doesn't really matter which one he picks at this point.

Whats your take on that? Clottey preety much didnt swing back so i get that, Margarito took a beating. JMM has been dropped so many times but didnt get dropped in there first 2 fights so i was very surprised he didnt get a knockdown let alone a KO in the 3rd fight. Didnt get the KO against Bradley. dropped JMM in the 4th fight and u could say he was on his way to a KO but he got KO. so almost doesnt count.

I dont wanna believe he was juicing but its always made me wonder that the power is not as much as it used to be. its very hard to lose power. u loose speed, reflexes, lots more other things before power. he's still fast as hell but no KOs.

Roach says hes really gonna push for KO in the Bradley rematch and i would like to see that fire in him. I mean its do or die. I dont want to imagine what will happen to an ATG in Pac if he loses April 12, even though Bradley has got better and is A solid fighter, i would advise to retire, especially signed with TR with no fighters left.

so whats your take on Pac no having any KO's in over 4 years?

i really hope he been clean but 2009 refusal was awefully fishy to me.
i think outside of rios he has been fighting decent boxers, not flat footed fighters just trying to seek and destroy him for the last few years..

i only know of 1 true KO in last decade for him and that was hatton, that was a ko 1000000000000000000000.
as bad as the jmm ko in paq

maybe because the guy won his first belt at 112 pounds

most fighters lose power after jumping up a division or two....this is his 10th division, not sure why this is so hard to figure out

Part of it could have been Ariza's mystery shakes that Roach has spoken up about recently or it could be genuine decline . . . . maybe even upping it up competition wise rather than fighting Walking punching bags (Rios aside) and fighting people who move, its something that stops manny from setting up his big power shots whenthe guy stays out of range or slips/rolls with the punches

His next fight with Tim Bradley will tell a lot about him in the coming months, question is who does he fight next?

Top Rank only has Ruslan Provodnikov who is trained by Roach also so thats not even certain. Then of course you have the rematches with Marquez/Bradley again and then guys Arum is trying to drag up from as low as 130 in Mikey Garcia

his contract ends this year (unless he resigns with TR) so he could fight the large crop of GB talent :

    Shawn Porter - IBF Champion
    Marcos Maidana - WBA Champion
    Kieth Thurman
    Danny Garcia
    Lucas Matthysse

All those styles would make great match ups for Manny as GBP have far better talent in their stable than Toprank and hopefully a Mayweather fights gets made too
