Manny had dropped JMM 4 times in there 2 fights put together. then Pac had been a WW for a few years and JMM only for a year or so. i thought with pac not getting a knockdown at all let alone a KO wasnt very good on his part.

wether u like or not, Marquez has been down alot of times in his career. Pac's best chance for a KO was the 3rd fight but he didnt even get a knockdown. power depeleting or what??

    U must be smoking :rasta:rasta

What does "cherry" mean to you, in this sense? To me it means he has no equal in the division. So...it does not matter who gets picked. He is highly favored to win in any scenario. He can certainly do no worse than picking a guy who lost his last fight and has never fought at the weight.

If Floyd wasn't the P4P #1, undefeated, and didn't call himself the best ever among all his other trash-talk, the standards wouldn't be so high for him. But they are because he is all those things, and rightfully so. Compared to other greats like SRL, Ali, etc, Floyd has no A+ level killers on his resume, and particularly since he came up in weight he has obviously cherry-picked opponents with style matchups/weaknesses that are favorable for him. He's not fighting bums but he's not fighting opponents that present him with any real potential problems. And some of his easy wins have been severely devalued in various ways. So until Floyd actually steps up or slows his roll on the talking, he's going to be held to a higher standard.

GGG gets a lot of love because he is more entertaining in the ring and it's very clear that none of the marquee fighters at 160 want to fight him(while everyone wants Floyd), with some taking fairly lengthy steps to duck him(Geale, Sturm) so while GGG has fought a relatively low level of opposition, he's generally received well by fans despite that.

Marquez and Pacquiao are smaller than Mayweather, especially Pacquiao.

I don't dislike Pacquiao.. Hell he's my 2nd favorite fighter currently. First fight was pretty much a dome deal then they walked away from it to sign the Clottey fight within 48hrs(24?)
This whole "floyd would have added another stumbling block" is bull****. That fight was ready to go until Pac/Arum did the unexpected.

I think he was clean. You gotta look at the opposition he's been fighting. JMM, Bradley, Rios has a beard on him and Pac didn't look to throw caution to the wind. Shane has a beard on him and fought going backwards.. Hard to KO a guy like that

Amazing really, from destroying cotto , hatton and orbital bones to not being able to seriously hurt timmeh or Rios

how do people not see this? He just doesn't carry power at 147... it's that simple, or atleast ko power. He hits guys flush (look at rios) and they just smile at him, in lower weights the same shots put people down and hurt them. Trust me he will not ko bradley no way.

Even his 2 'ko's at 47 weren't true ko's.. cotto was 145 and oscar retired but never went down or anything

he doesn't have 147 ko power. simple.
