Did you expect otherwise?, Khan wants the Mayweather payday and nothing else. He didn't stay inactive for nearly a year protecting his self from anyone random knocking him out for nothing. A rematch with Maidana at 147 is a guarantee brutal KO loss for Khan.

Beating a certain fighter doesn't mean a rematch is illegal especially when the beaten fighter showed major improvements and currently hold a major title. Maidana is one of the biggest names in the sport at the moment while Khan is inactive, on the downside and wants a quick payday before calling it quits.

    1. Broner wants Maidana
    2. Khan has already signed a contract to fight Floyd
    3. Khan would be an easier win than Maidana. Possibly that KO/TKO he's been wanting since 2007.

If the Khan fight happens, I do hope no-one buys it. Void thinking he can trick the fans with this **** fight.

I don't even get why you guys are taking this poll seriously.... this poll is just to make Mayweather jr look like he tried his best to make the Maidana fight but at the end of the day.... Its Khan vs Mayweather jr in May, 2014. They have probably signed contracts even before the poll.. wouldn't be surprised at all.

Khan has the physical tools to beat anyone in the world, but doesn't have the defense to offset his chin... against legit punchers. Very simple.

This. Its all well having an opinion on how a fight plays out when the 2 guys have never fought before. But a lot of people on here like to say that MM would KO Khan this time, they even state it like its a fact, and there is no other possible outcome

The fact is, nobody knows. The fact is, they have fought, Khan won and it was MM who was dropped...

^^ This is the only true indication we can use to make a prediction.

Its not like Khan used to have an iron jaw and MM was feather fisted. He's always been a big puncher, everyone then knew about Khans chin too. I was predicting a MM win via KO

    Nothing has changed

Sure, apart from Diaz himself, he won what 4 rounds, and he dropped Khan because he was off balance not due to his chin, he got hurt in the 11th due to his chin, and most have this d level fighter beating the current ibf champ the first time round

It will take a headliner to sell Mayweather Vs Khan.
Even Floyd's most loyal supporters are talking of abandoning this event.

Broner Vs Maidana would sway a lot of people to buy this card.
No one will buy into Mayweather Vs Khan without a VERY good undercard.

Truth is, Mayweather should be fighting Bradley or Garcia before lesser names are even mentioned, Danny Garcia should hang his head in shame for not chasing this fight.
