Did any of you actually listen to the interview? It looks a lot worse in print, but wasn't quite so blunt when you hear it. I think he'll regret the use of the word 'shot', which came right at the end of about 10 minutes on the subject, but what he was saying is Carl's done more than enough in the sport, doesn't need to prove anything more and should get out with his health intact. His point about Carl looking old overnight may not be everyone's view either, but he certainly isn't the first to say it. And of course there's the odd bit of arrogance and bravado in there too, but that's Naz. There wouldn't be any point interviewing him if he just took a leaf out of Jamie Redknapp's book and described Carl as a top top fighter in a top top fight.

i was one of the two people that mentioned the fact naz never rated groves on this thread. it was a 50/50 chance it was about me. Just covering my bases
