A 40 million advance flat fee is a cut of the ppv money. You have to subtract that from what Floyd gets to determine Floyd's profit.

 

Why is it accepted that people can just spout crap about Manny being on PED's, what proof is their, he never failed a test, It's just as likely and reasonable to say that FMJ was or is on PED's, IMO the PED **** was spouted by floyd to avoid the fight, there is NO PROOF! of Pac using PED's same as Floyd but nobody calls Floyd a user.

 

This fight would definitely be a TMT promotion. This is why Mayweather won't deal with Arum.
I think the $40M offer to Pac was pretty fair, but at this point, I think a $25-30M offer is fair based on Pac's real chances of making it a competitive fight.
If Pac left Arum and signed with GBP, he could probably negotiate a great deal for himself where he would earn his greatest take-home pay yet.

if i were floyd and i am pretty sure he is doing it anyway, is to make paq enforce his mando status WHICH if paq wanted the fight like he pretends would had been addressed already.

that way floyd is happy cause its 75/25. challenger gets 25% and IF a miracle hits and he were to do the impossible he would get a huge cut in the rematch.

floyds pissed his offers were turned down and team paq tried to make it like they were the A side and floyd should be going after them when they need to be going after him..

That's what the thread is about. Anyway, Pacquiao said he would accept 40/60. So there's no way Mayweather would give him more than that. That's just common sense. The scenario about the split being deterimed by the winner is never going to happen.

Anywhere from 40-50% for Pac works fine for me, but this idea that Pac needs this fight more than Floyd is pure bull****.

This is a legacy fight in which the winner would also be rated higher than the loser. So from that perspective Floyd has more to loss, but if it never happens he's also going to get most of the blame.
