He don't want Matthysse or Khan again. not long till someone takes his 0 though then he might reconsider it.

 

it was very close and even through 6, starting in the 7, (yes eye had impact) garcia took complete control and did make lucas very hesitant to throw any punches.

what impressed me the most was lucas landed his best punch and landed cleanly right on the button early in the 11th only to have garcia come back hurt him and put him on the canvas at the end of the 11th.

and yes 100% clear and clean knock down. yes, garvia used his experience to get lucas kinda messed up in the ropes BUT i dont care what anyone says (people claimin not a clean or legit LD are haters that dont know this sport) ya garvis turned and and threw a 3 punch combo (kind of a combo) and the last left landed on the top part of lucas head and thats what put him down..

no need for rematch unless lucas becomes champ and its there ( love to see them go again) to me garcia proved to be the better h2h boxer and proves locus cant hurt him while garcia can hurt him. of course the right shot anybody can hurt anybody but garcia did and would fight him carefully//

 

I agree: Danny should fight Matthysse and then all the 140-pound men in the former USSR named Ruslan. About a thousand guys, probably.

 

IMO Garcia would never give any live fighter a rematch, I really like Danny but his father is the definition of white trash and I can't look past that....

Angel obviously has a lot to do with the decisions on who he fights and there's no way he is risking him against Lucas again, we saw what happened with Khan when he tried for a rematch (I'm no Khan fan by but there's no disputing until that wild blind left hook Khan was beating him up) and he acted like a spoilt brat in the playground who just won a game of catch.....

yea it was legit, what these cry babies talkig about?? Are they all made there KO machine didnt get the KO?? HAHAHA Garcia was a lock and i made my $2500 on that fight. he was the better boxer, more accurate, the champ, gimme a break.

it was a good fight but its time to move on. Lucas get a few more wins then rematch at 147 next year or in a couple years

 

it's you who doesn't know the sport.

hitting someone while they're caught up in the ropes IS illegal. instant DQ can be dished out when this happens. go and read the rules before making ill informed opinions.

i'm not saying i would have liked to see Danny get DQ'd, not at all. but he should have had a point taken while Lucas had 5 minutes to recover.

what should have been a 10-8 round for Lucas, turned into a 10-8 round for Danny.

this is just one of the many ****ed up things that happened that night. :deal

Matthysse won the fight on my card. he was jibbed.

Danny should have also had points taken for the constant low blows. and when the ref stepped straight in when Lucas hurt Danny with a big shot when his mouth piece came flying out, was also Bull****. you wait for a lull in the action, not straight away to give the home fighter some help.

this always happens in the States now, and it's pissing me off. 3 times now that Lucas has been ripped off over there. for people to not give a damn, just shows you how unsporting they are. i like things to be fair and even, not crooked. this was another crooked case. :deal

or will say he only gave him a rematch because he was way past prime which is true. morales was past his prime before the last mab fight and that put him way physically past it with zero chance at being a top fighter again.

he did go on to beat up paq after but that was only because paq had blood drawn and wore the wrong socks, shoes and gloves. i agree he had the hand protector gloves on but so did eric. if they whoree reyes paq would had been tko'd

ok off topic. if lucas wins a belt and is in the same div as garcia and he puts a good 4/5 wins in a row garxia would fight him again. garcia fighting and beating him again now does nothing for him. at all.. he would be the fav and expected to bear him easier which would lay into lucs hand

Morales was the champ in the first bout and had a rematch clause that he exercised. Lucas had no belt.

Garcia is right for moving on. Everybody said he was going to lose the fight. He proved them all wrong. He doesn't have to go back there just so they hope he will lose again.

 

As long as he starts with the highest ranked one.

what rounds did you have for each fighter ? i really and curious how you went about scoring it,
the fights been on showtime this past week and i saw it a couple more times and each time it looks
like a better performance by garcia. i will admit lucas came out very strong and very dangerous but
garcia tamed him.

and for you information it doesnt matter what you think or what you wanted to happen every fight
tries to gain any advantage and garcie went low a couple times. BUT if its not called by the ref its NOT
a penalty. get it, got it good

 

I can't blame him for not wanting to rematch matthysse he barley escaped last time with the win and that's fighting dude with one eye :deal



Danny would get beat quite clearly in a rematch unless lighting strikes twice on that eye
