If Cotto can't be Trout, why does he think he can beat Martinez @ 160?

    Cotto's chin is glass

    Mayweather hurt him bad

At least JCC can take a punch.

Cotto by late stoppage.martinez body can't hold together anymore.very suprised if martinez would beat cotto.yes cotto is probably betting underdog, but oh boy how wrong they are.

Martinez don't have defence, roach will have strategy for cotto.cotto will probably work the body, martinez will be broken

    CAN'T WAIT!

    Fair point.
HE looked entirely refreshed with freddie last fight to me.

Weight should matter..he'll fight at 165, just like he did for cotto and trout.

He still gets knocked out by a middleweight Sergio... if he pulls this off then it will be his greatest victory. Roach's too.

This is on the line between ballsy and plain dumb on Cotto's part.

There goes that myth again .

Mayweather never came close to hurting Miguel . Even in the 12th

But then again People are going to see what they want to see ....

It's a big risk for Cotto but I think he can pull it off. Martinez didn't look good in his last fight and I think Cotto can capitalize on the way that Martinez keeps his hands down

Tough fight for Miguel ,it really all depends how far gone Martinez is with age,his injury, and inactivity .

Cotto will get to him a some point, and it will probably be often unless Martinez is gonna be on the run the whole time. i hope hes knee can last 12 rough rounds. IMO Martinez shouldve took a tune up before this fight. size dont win fights. and if he thinks Cotto is a tune up for GGG he's lost his damn mind and possibly that title on June 7th...let alone more paydays.

I feel boy shots are going to cripple Martinez. he hasnt fought anybody with Cotto's skill set. and with his hands down all the time, that jab of Cotto's will be the key and Roach likes jabs.

Trout and Martinez are 2 very different fighters with totally different styles. Of course Martinez is getting old, but he would have to be completely shot to lose to Cotto. It's not an easy fight for either guy, but I think that Cotto is very likely to receive a beatdown and get his face messed up again.

Are we really to the point that you're now claiming Cotto hasn't had chin and stamina issues?

    :verysad

Again: who was the last world class fighter that this allegedly great Cotto 'body attack' affected in a fight? Who is the last world class fighter that Cotto's 'bullying' affected on a consistent basis?
