Honestly it was about equal in terms of dirty punching and mugging vs. epic holding.

My beef with the fight is the score. Just like how I think it was reffed poorly equally in disservice of the fighters, I too think that a Draw would have just been the ideal scenario and most accurate for the sake of the history books...

Watch his fight with Bika. He was using elbows and I dont recall him being warned. Against Kessler, I recall Kessler warned for head use, look at the Rodriguez fight

I don't recall the punch stats. So, I will have to take your word for it. But, I recall feeling that Froch received some home cooking in that fight. And I felt Dirrell deserved the win based on ring generalship and cleaner punching in more of the rounds. To say exactly how many I would have to rewatch it.

Dirrell fought like a woman...runnning, crying, and holidng.

I was so glad to see him booed outta that ring.

I'm happiest that he'll never fight again tho

Seconding the notion that saying Ward/Froch was close makes your opinion on boxing irrelevant until you can set the bias aside.

yep, this is what I've been saying about bailey all along
the sad thing is, 'all roads lead to calzaghe' for bailey - that's all he's doing, trying to cushion the argument that calzaghe is a great, and greater than ward

you would think after 3 years doing the same thing he would have grown up by now and learned how to be objective, but no....

Hatton Mayweather was a sickening display of corruption

Brittards have long held the opinion that, much like the Tsyzu fight, Hatton should be allowed to hold and hit, wrestle, and use any other dirty tactics he chooses.

The irony is utterly lost on brittards that the refereeing for Tsyzu-Hatton was 1000x times worse than the Mayweather-Hatton fight which they are so fond of complaining.

Some venture to say that Hatton may have won had he not been "screwed over by the referee" when fighting Mayweather.

Probably stopped reading due to being in denial
Every round that I picked had at least one official judge in agreement.
Tell me if you dont think its close, how did you pick rounds 9,11 and 12 for Ward? How do you not think round 1 was close when little happened
You are the one bringing Calzaghe up.
Not sure how Ward/Froch can be about Calzaghe? Put that down to your own insecurity.
I dont need to make an arguement on that front because I have already owned and exposed you on that subject in other threads.

Back to the subject - Ward/Froch to me was a close fight, where 2 officials scored it similar to me.

Seems HoldMyBeer and Slyk have some real insecurities.
Slyks even forced to use insults. Maybe you two should just have a private thread for yourselves. Call it denial .
    Enjoy
