Yeah I caught that article too - good read, and it'd make a great cinderella story if Leapai could overcome the odds, but TBH I don't see it happening this side of Alex's dreams.

same, but what a moment it would be for him if it happened

Id love to see Leapai win but how can you root for him when he won't be given a fair chance. You sound like you never watched a Wlad fight in your life.
Leapai is going to be fouled to death and the ref isn't going to do anyting about it. At least he will get a nice paycheck but if Wlad had any pride he would of rejected the fight or paid him step aside money to fight a real top contender, but he obviously wanted this easy defence.

The only chance anybody has in Germany are tall guys like Pulev and Fury who will take away Wlad fouling and holding.

Anybody has a good chance against Wlad within the rules of boxing.

Yeah. The best fighter his own size he ever faced turned him over in two rounds.

    my point still stands...
you obviously have an affiliation to lepai somewhere or you wouldn't be building his case for unfair treatment

It doesn't matter what Wlad's opponents do, as soon as they get close enough to land anything, Wlad pulls out the wrestling moves and the paid off ref helps him along. Wlad disgraceful cheating also goes as far as elbowing his opponents in the back of the head in a deliberate attempt to cause them serious brain injury, the man is scum on par with Luis Resto.

Wlads track record proves he is the bearer of unfair treatment. You are missing the point.

Maybe life would be easier if you weren't such a hater?
You sound like he must guarantee his opponents a specific number of shots to be landed at him.
You sound like if Wlad takes a shot, he's 100% to be knocked out.
You sound like Povetkin fight is the only one you saw, and there were no other 60 victories.

Outside of Povetkin fight, he doesn't clinch more than Lewis did.. that's what style requires. Your beloved Fury does it as well.. he doesn't take care of the defence though and takes a lot of shots for what he will be punished one day or another. Wlad once was, back in 2004, and he took the lesson.

I don't expect you to take my point, but just to show disagreement. If a person says, that Leapai won't win Klitschko just because Wlad doesn't follow boxing rules, he's an incurable hater.. let it be.

Doesn't matter how Wlad fought 10 years ago. He's judged as he fights now.

I had no beef with him before but he since has disgraced himself and the sport. He started his holding back in 2004 but wasn't allowed get away with it so he permanently moved to Germany where he has fouled excessively ever since.

Fury ran after Cunningham and held him so he could punch him more. Big difference. No HW has ever foulded to such a high degree as Wlad.

Lol.. he did exactly what you criticize Wlad for.. He was like 20 kg harder, fought a guy of a different weight division. So he leant his weight upon Cunningham and exhausted him. Because the smaller, the older boxer outboxed the young British hope in distance, that is what disgrace is.

By the way, i lost every bit of respect to him after that push after the 1st round bell ringed. It was a relief to see him punished at the beggining of next round.
And KO was also very dirty-mannered.

Disgrace is to take him seriously after that. Fury is the one who is a real shame of sport.

Wlad should have been DQ'd against Povetkin.

Fury never once jumeped on his back, headlocked him to the ground, elbowed him to the back of the neck or bearhugged him and refused to let go till the ref broke them..

That was a mess of a fight and i know Fury isn't going to perform like that again and if he did i wouldn't follow him anymore but what he did against Cunningham and what Wlad does against everybody is completely different.

Fury was holding him so he could hit him and he let his hands go inside to the head and body. Wlad holds because he doesn't want to punch and will refuse point blank to let shots go. You don't know what you're watching.

Also Wlad is representing the prestigious HW championship everytime he drags it through the mud when he performs like a cowardly, bullying disgrace.
