It was rigged of course, how else would Maidana have won every other poll bar the one on Mayweather's site, just a way for him to justify this farce and unfortuanatly he seems to have convinced many on ESB that it is an ok fight, it is in my ass why does he get a pass on Thurman, Maidana, Porter, Lara all more deserving men and mark my words better opponents this will be as one sided as Ortiz. Haven't bought a Mayweather ppv since Hatton and won't be changing that habit this time. Joke Fight

The problem there is while neither guy has much chance of winning, Khan's chance is virtually zero because he has no chin and no punching power. And it doesn't matter how fast he is with the sloppiness of his offense. Floyd is just going to counter him and likely stop him by the mid-rounds without having to exert himself much at all.

The Maidana fight, on the flipside, is very likely to go down as you say, but at least Maidana is relentless with a puncher's chance to win and will likely be in the fight for the duration.

It's basically like Khan has about a 2% chance of winning vs Maidana's 5%. Neither guy should be in there.

I honestly can't understand why anyone would want to watch Mayweather vs Maidana.

Amir you introduced me into the sport now it's time for Mayweather to introduce you out...

Oh well a Brook Khan fight would be an interesting fight in the UK.

    What a mismatch.

And Ward denying to have ever sparred with Khan... the cherry on the cake.

    This is all fake.

i won't be watching this fight unless they stack the undercard with good matches. the fact that danny garcia and canelo already have their own dates tells me it's not going to be stacked.

It wouldn't surprise me if Al Haymon and/or Golden Boy are the pulling the strings behind this one just to land Floyd a BS fight with Khan. Setting up this online vote is nothing more that tool to a justify them picking Khan, Who knows where those votes are coming in from!!!! What boxing fan in their right mind would choose Khan? Here are the facts:

Maidana - been at 147 a while now, unification bout he's a current belt holder at 147, just beat arguably the best rising star in the sport, never been stopped.

Khan - never fought at 147, has no belts, coming off 2 unimpressive wins over bums, been stopped 2x in his career

ohhhh BUT WAIT the fans want to see Khan so clearly he deserves it, what a crock of BS LOL :patsch

Floyd can now claim it was the fight the public wanted to see. It was a brilliant stunt.

But it will backfire for them.

Maybe the fans want to see the more entertaining fight? Maybe they want to see the fight more likely to provide a KO?

If the fans wanted Floyd to fight Maidana wouldn't that mean Floyd/Maidana would generate more $? Why wouldn't Floyd want more $ for an equally easy win?
