Groves v Froch announced tomorrow. BBBOC reject Groves' appeal.

I think Froch thought he would take out George at will, but then relised it wasnt panning out that way.. Froch will stop him again late on again, Groves had to fight aggresively to keep Froch at bay, the early on slaught and pressure he had to put on Froch was showing with Fatigue after round 8..
For Groves to win he needs the same start and to finish clever, but i cant help but think Froch will catch up with the equaliser late on.. :good

 

Let's be fair, Froch credit due appears to have granted the rematch, but let's not get to carried away with this warrior ****, firstly the backlash from the first fight showed that Froch would ruin his reputation if he didn't give the rematch, Secondly whatever bull**** he was spouting the reality is he had few other options, The Chavez thing was a smoke screen to get barganing power over Groves, doubt that fight was a real possibility, Ward was and won't ever happen again, Kessler doesn't seem to want a 3rd fight or maybe to ever fight again. When it comes down to it it's not that much of a warrior thing to take the biggest fight with the most money involved just common sense.

 

Froch had no choice but to take the fight. His promoter and broadcaster both wanted this fight so what genuine options did Carl have on the table?

 

So let me get this straight people mug him off saying he won't rematch then still mug him off when he does.

I didn't call into question any other fight. Watch frochs interviews post fight, it is clear he didn't want to fight groves again, only he knows the real reason but the overall public perception would have been that he didn't fancy he could win the rematch, you know that as well as I do. So yes public pressure and demand has created the rematch, not froch immediately saying that the result was unfair and he feels groves deserves the rematch.

 

Let's not be naive here lads,it's not about fan pressure,warrior reputation or whatever.......this rematch was always going to happen next cos the fact that a lot of you seem to forget its about MONEY !!.This last couple of months banter has been about maximising profits for all concerned.I can't wait and still think Carl will win.....and if he doesn't he can walk away into the sunset head held high with proper retirement dosh.

 

When you are Carl's age you want to be fighting as much as possible to get plenty of money before you retire not sitting out getting old waiting to fight one guy.

 

George Groves is going to send Froch into retirement.

Flipsake another few months of mindgames, overreactions on here and every other forum and tedious build up to the fight.

Just get it over and done with it i say. I had my worries about Carl leading into the fight (Kessler II fight started well then dropped off in middle rounds) and even in pre fight interviews he looked tired.

I think Groves wins, I think Froch was about to stop Groves fairly in first fight. Sadly the punishment and the flaws in Carl and going to the well again and lessons learned from George will see him to victory. I think when he knows he's tired he will cling on for dear life, He won't try the macho stuff that lost him the fight.

Groves to win, Could force a stoppage if Froch's wheels come off. Remember the Kessler II fight was just as punishing. Two brutal fights in 2013..
