Asian in the U.S. is meant as slant-eyed and yellowish skin: Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc. Although most of Russia is technically in Asia, that is just a territorial description, and not one of ancestry or genetics. Almost nobody here associates any Russians from Russian-type territories as Asians (unless they fit the description above). Regardless, I get it, you don't want to count him as White although he has White skin and does not have slant-eyes, to try to take him away from counting as a White boxer because of your racism against Whites.
