If it's true that Maidana is the one then it's a well deserved payday for him. He is a no nonsense fighter that has no fear and comes to win. You can't underestimate Maidana although I don't think he will win simply because Floyd is better by far in everything he has to offer. I think Floyd respects Maidana for the way he fights and the bottom line is that the Maidana fight will gross more than the Khan fight. The Maidana highlights would be awesome in the buildup and Maidana has that Latin flavor which will serve to boost the sales. It has the makings to put up decent numbers.:bbb

At least with Khan, he can make it interesting with his speed and there is always the excitement factor of him getting knocked out. If its Maidana then its going to be a one sided sparring session bore fest as is typical of Mayweathers fights.

From those two choices, though... Maidana... Simply because he's done more of late to earn a shot and he's actually fought (and holds a belt) at the weight.
