Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

IMO Maidana improved his boxing alot.
He's no longer a C level more of a B- ish.

 

If Maidanna get's picked then I really have to give credit to Mayweather. That is the hardest fight out there with exception to the Manny pacquiao fight and I guess that won't happen either.

 

Styles makes fights.... I have no doubt khan would get ko'd against mayweather.... But i also have no doubt maidana would fight floyd in a one sided borefest.... Similar if not more convincing as guerrero-mayweather.... At least with khan there would be excitement and an anticipation of a long awaited ko win for mayweather.

Maidana was at times bullied and outboxed by fat old morales... What will mayweather do? It would be too easy... At least with khan it might be exciting while it lasts

 

The Thurman hype.

Thurman still hasn't proved he is any better than Maidana...

 

Is there any official statement yet, plenty of rumours saying Khan was used as a ruse to get Maidana's purse down.

 

Maidana exposed an overrated hypejob in Broner, and now hes the best contendor at 147?

 

No has said he is but Pac and Bradley are top rank and fighting each other. Maidana is a better WW opponent than Khan.

maidana deserves the fight but what has tim bradley got to do?
he`s the man really deserves the shot.

On paper Maidana looks better. Style wise Khan presents a bit more of a puzzle, IMO. Neither really have a chance.

 

Khan has to be careful. Soon Mayweather Sr. will accuse him of 'begging' and 'Team Mayweather don't fight no beggars'

 

I was waiting for this . . . Thurman is now the NEW Boogieman . . . when Floyd beats everyone will say: "He was to green or trouble making weight . . . then he fought him to duck X . . . lol!"

I say give Thurman a year or so and he will be up for the challenge.

 

still a very perdictible fight. But if its between both, Miadana diserves the fight way more then Khan. When khan was mentioned I thought it was some kind a joke by some khantard. I can't believe he was actually being considerd.

Khan had the tools to make it but that egg shell chin & poor defense got the best of him.

Khan needs to get in line. These are more worthy oppenets, Pacquiao (even though it won't happen)>Lara>Maidana> Thurman>Danny Garcia> Lucas>LP> Luis Collazo& about 6 fighters down maybe Khan.
