Maidana has a welterweight title and is on a win streak. Pac just fought a lightweight who was coming off a loss to Mike Alvarado.

 

Defiantly the worse of the worse ..His fans will try to justify this because of his win over Broner but forget that he struggled with a waaaaaay past his prime Morales,lost to Khan and was beat by Alexander but since he's racked up a few good win he's now worthy ..What a joke !

Exactly how did he get that belt ? who did he beat ? I can hear it now look Floyd beat another world champ ..Yet people still call this a cherry pick .

 

I think Khan and Maidana are worse cherry picks than Ortiz and Guerrero.

A case can easily be made for the Ghost, he earned that fight.
Ortiz beat Berto, who at the time was perceived to be a challenger.
I think Ortiz was somewhat of a cherry pick though, the fight was marketed around Floyd taking on a young, hungry lion, which was a good ploy.

But on the other side, Khan has been recently KO'd by Garcia - who by his own admission isn't ready for Floyd, so why should Khan get this fight?

Maidana has beaten up on a 135 lb fighter in Broner, who had no business being at welterweight. If it wasn't for all the hype that came with Broner, Maidana wouldn't even be spoken about as being a challenger. In reality he is only just ahead of Paulie, who arguably also beat Broner.

I don't understand though, who should he fight in your opinion. Take all things into account before replying... name people who sell tickets, ppv attractions & obvioulsy nobody from top rank as we know for whatever reason those fights don't happen.
