How do you think it would have transpired. For me, if Haye hadn't have got his 'cut' 5 days before the weigh in - with what we now know about his shoulder and the fact that he was visibly in the worst shape of his career - I think Fury would have boxed sensible and fought the fight of his life, stopping the Hayemaker around the 6th or 7th round once he gassed :good Yr thoughts?
haye is a clear A-Level fighter and fury is at best a B-level fighter. haye could have outboxed him without a problem and knowing furys chin, haye would have koed him early
I still to this day believe Haye's video 2 weeks before that was put on social media by one of his buddies was scare tactics. I think he thought and hoped Fury's arse would go. I think as we know Haye's never been as aggressive with bigger men than against men his size. I think Fury's unhinged personality and raw inner ability and size and skills had unsettled Haye who deep down knows his body looks great on outside but isn't what it once was on the inside. I don't think he wanted to go to the well again and i think the noise from the U.S boys in Fury's camp got to him. I don't think he had any intentions of fighting Fury or had hoped Fury would totally unravel in the build up which he didn't lets be honest Tyson got to a week away and was doing a sterling job of playing it cool and low key. I always felt if Fury fought the right fight he could really upset Haye. But it's if's and but's so i was never 100% on it as you never know with Tyson. Saturday is a dangerous fight because you don't know what Tyson will do..
Think that Haye's speed and power would have knocked Fury out pretty early, as in the first 3-4 rounds as Fury doesnt have the best of whiskers but a lot of heart. If it went past 6 rounds Fury would have had a better chance of winning.
Fury was getting wobbled by Cunningham who was a feather-fisted cruiserweight. Haye would have destroyed him.
