Floyd is not a top 35 p4p fighter all time. Never could be. Never will be.

    Just read a bit more.

    Hopkins beat Calzaghe?

Calzaghe outlanded Hopkins almost 2 to 1.

Really man , you are less substance than I thought.

It's like a declawed, cuter version of Revolver.

Like he's suddenly developed a self-deprecating streak that the original lacked.

With pitter patter slaps yes. Not with punches that should win a round.

Did you say Roy Jones had better defense than Floyd in his prime? I think you're confusing athleticism and reflexes with defense. As soon as his reflexes failed him, Roy got KO'ed.

i agree with most of what u said...except for the high ranking of leonard....and the false notion that he 'made duran quit' is pure bull****.

also...i wouldn't put roy jones and bhop so high on the list. both were self managed and as a result would never pick opposition that would beat them during their primes.

you also have lewis ranked too high. he was knocked out twice by two different journeymen during his prime. u also cannot discount the fact that he chose to vacate his belts rather than face his mandatory challengers in ruiz and byrd.

The list is not ordered by rank. Just by whoever came off the top of my head first

Anyone can nitpick any resume and bring out the negatives. Manny is one of the best to ever lace up the gloves and you may not recognized this until after he retires and time passes. If you can't understand that, you need to find another sport or step in the ring yourself instead of being a fake couch fan.

if u can't admit that most of pacs biggest opponents had these things in common...

    1. trouble make weight
    2. coming off recent war/beatdown
    3. trainer issues/managerial issues

then u are either blind or in denial.

when he fought barrera i predicted a pac win because:

    1. barrera's manager was going public with stories of him having a metal plate in his head. valero had been suspended from boxing indefinitely because of the same thing.

    2. barrera had to break camp because of fires in big bear.

when he fought morales the first time...i knew he would lose because pac was distracted by his own success. the gym was packed with filipinos praising him every step of the way and taking pics with him. he could barely get through a work out without interruption. also...there were spying eyes in that gym.

in the rematch with morales...pac had the advantage because morales couldn't make the weight anymore. he had moved up to 135 fight raheem and loss terribly. so dropping back down to 130 was a guaranteed win for pac. easy prediction there. same with the 3rd fight.

when everything was equal against jmm...he started out amazing...but jmm took away all of his advantages. i had pac winning by 1pt but u have to admit that after that poor start, it was very impressive for jmm to get up and outbox pac for most of the fight.

i had jmm winning the 2nd and 3rd fights. the 4th left no doubts.

as for fights with dlh, hatton, cotto, margarito, clottey, mosley...see the first 3 points i made in the thread. at least one applies to each.

in the case of cotto...he didn't have a real trainer. also, pac had the advantage of hbo giving training footage directly to freddie in the lead up to the fight. did cotto's camp get the footage of pac training?

as for the bradley fight...i scored it a draw. i think bradley is going to erase all doubt in the rematch. i am not one of the ppl who got overly excited about pacs win over rios. rios was tailor made for pac. he's still the same fighter. still making the same mistakes. the knock out has diminished him.
