"the judges were watching the fight while the fans were watching pacquiao." -timmeh

you can't win a fight when u don't do **** for the first 2:30 of each round. pac missed a **** load of punches. sure he landed the bigger shots through out the bout...but one punch doesn't win u a round if u got out worked the rest of it. my suggesting to u...learn how to score rounds and turn down the volume. don't listen to the fight. watch the fight.

the circumstances were different in each fight.

the cotto that fought floyd would have beat pac. also...let's not forget...pac refused to face cotto at 154. he wanted cotto to come back down to 147. he fought him at 145 the first time.

again...pac refused to fight mosley at 147 when floyd fought him. roach wanted mosley to come in at 142. it's on record. look it up.

roger mayweather made a comment after the fight that hatton was only allowed to gain 5lbs after the weigh in. he made the comment on video. that video has disappeared. my guess is that he was threatened with legal action as a result of revealing that info. it's why i believe pac has had non disclosure agreements for his fights at 140 and above.

dlh was just a fcuked up situation all together. there's the issue that gbp had signed pac. dlh agreed to fight at a weight he hadn't been at in 9yrs prior. the rumors of him getting beat up by valero and ortiz. then there's the whole thing about freddie saying he saw track marks on dlh's arm. that was just all wrong.

marquez/mayweather was a useless fight. the small counter puncher vs the big counter puncher. did anyone think jmm had a chance? i didn't.

when he had a chance to prove he was the best....and had an undefeated cotto and williams in front of him...with margarito on the sidelines calling him out...he conveniently retired.

now...i don't see anyone that can beat him at 147 except for maybe thurman or porter.

i'd like to see him fight lara at 154.

i'd love to see him fight ggg or quillen at 160. that would be history making.

Marquez wasn't on roids then and he was hitting like a light heavy weight against Pacquiao.Very heavy heavy hands.

Cotto at 154 lbs. would not have beat Pac. any version of Cotto gets beat by Pac but all this common opponent thing is stupid what the point Floyd still beat them so it doesn't matter how he beat them he beat them end of.

The only fight i agree with the OP is pacs win over Hatton and cotto, both of those guys looked good prior to fighting pac.

However, Mosley was shot as **** when he fought pac and DLH was just a mess

Like I said, easy to focus on the negatives on a great resume, a whole other to build that great resume for people to nitpick in the first place.

    Example: Floyd

    - Corrales was weight drained, you cannot deny this, he lost 15-20lbs going into that fight and was also I believe going into prison a few days later. People talk about MAB's fire incident and how it affect his mental preparation, Corrales issue is much bigger yet isn't constantly thrown.

    - Castillo - Floyd lost the first fight.

    - ODLH was shot and he only managed an SD, Pac demolished him just a year later.

    - Cotto - Cotto had already been destroyed by Pac & Margarito.

    - Mosley was shot, again demo's by his following fights.

    - Hatton took him 10 rounds, Pac demolished that inside 2. Hatton also arguably lost to Collazo previous fight and was a natural 140lber.

Like I said, oh so easy. You can do that with anyone, Ali, Dural, SRL etc. The thing is for all these couch potato experts here, if these resume's are so flawed and easy to build, why isn't everybody building em?
