Eh, Angulo doesn't quite match up as well with Alvarez as Maidana did with Broner. Although I do like the comparison and they are similar in many aspects. I called Maidana over Broner and was insulted for it. I will not cast that sentiment to anyone who thinks Angulo wins. People who toss him aside as a bum should look at the Lara fight at least. And if you think highly of Lara, as most do very much, then Angulo deserves mass props for their fight last year, even in stoppage defeat.
Exactly . Perro proved to the world in that fight that he is a formidable opponent . He put Lara threw life and death and had him looking the most vulnerable he's ever had . Something that the more talented , quicker , slicker Trout couldn't even come close to doing .

An Angulo KO or TKO is a very real possibilty, not (IMO) accurately reflected in the betting odds.

SRA Yeah I think he's getting overrated for knocking down a chinny runner a couple times while simultaneously getting his ass kicked. Alvarez is being underrated for his lackluster performance against Mayweather.
