There will be standard blood testing which isn't very extensive and won't be up to the day of the fight. Drug testing organizations testing is focused more on urine analysis, not so much blood testing because it's not as efficient, cost more and is invasive which is more I ofa hhealth risk. WADA will set the standard for the random testing so there shouldn't be any belly aching.
You still on that bogus blood testing kick? How many athletes have been caught with illegal substances in their blood in the last 5 years? ZERO! Now...... how many boxers in the last 2 years have been caught doping? Ask yourself if any of those boxers were caught through random blood testing? Blood testing was just an excuse for Floyd not to accept the Pac fight. As long as they have random urine testing then people should be satisfied.
Dude....lol.....you have no idea what you are talking about. Urine analysis is the most effective and efficient way to trace illegal substances in an athletes system. Blood testing is NOT the preferred or most recommended way to test athletes at any level. Urine testing is much more advanced in being able to trace more illegal drugs than blood tests. again......numbers don't lie....ALL the boxers who have been caught doping in this sport over the last 25 years have been caught through urine tests......not blood.
F@cking *****s still complaining about the enhance extensive unannouced testing including the isotope etc. for the pac bradley bout. LOL. *****s are ******ed.
Bradley has no real leverage here to demand additional testing. Same as in the first fight. Also, he fought an 'untested' Pacquiao in the first fight and was not hurt (by a punch), has seen Manny knocked out, go 12 rounds with a blown up Rios, and he beat the guy who stopped Manny. He's obviously not worried about anything Pacquiao brings to the table, at this point. With that said...that PED controversy will always hang over Manny's head, because, he is simply not committed to improved testing, it seems.
For all the thinking you put into that post, you forgot one key element. How many boxers have undergone urine testing for their fights? Answer: Almost all of them. How many boxers have undergone blood testing for their fights? Answer: Almost none of them. It is even more so in other sports. There is no blood testing in them. There was no blood testing in boxing until Mayweather came along and now, luckily, a few others have jumped on the testing bandwagon (which can only ever be a good thing). I wish more would. But yes, the fact that you failed to recognize that and will still defend what you said because you went about it all high-n-mighty proves my point that anyone who tries to take that stance is just pushing their agenda, not knowledgeable, or is simply trolling. Your article is talking specifically about Marquez vs. Bradley. Nothing to do with Bradley vs. Pacquiao II. You could assume that the testing will be the exact same...
I no but you would think they would just use the same protocols they did in that fight in this fight.
The optics look terrible for Pac. If he looks like a world beater fighting Bradley (especially, not being able to finish off the above average Rios) people will point to the fact that there was no VADA testing and people will naturally think something was up. Right now the best move for Pac would be to continue to take VADA/USADA testing for the rest of his career or else a large portion of the population will suspect his record.
