Was a co presenter/summariser tonight and I thought he did a great job. Knew what he was talking about and didn't force opinion (Jim Watt School), more just offered it, whilst still able to give a breakdown of what was happening. I hope they have him back. :thumbsup
Totally agree. Was very impressed by him, he was articulate and provided great and insightful colour commentary. Boxnation should definately try and bring him back in the future.
I thought he was o.k, until he forgot to hold his mike up at the end. He was full of great advice about putting the pressure on etc. He should do that himself.
He was good, articulate and enthusiastic. His objectivity is questionable but I have no problem with commentators having bias.
He's always been a class guy whose very articulate. I wonder how him and the Fury clan all get on, he seems somewhat a bit out of place with them. Imagine he gives them all superb sparring sessions.
Very articulate and i thought as a fighter provided incites that no amount of being around the game would provide, things that can only be spotted by a fighter or maybe a good trainer, nothing against the boxnation lads but Eddie being a fighter provided some nice input and i'd love to see him back on Boxnation again.
Seeing him stood between Jim Rosenthal and Steve Bunce did make me think that he would be better off making a real go of it at Cruiser rather than floating around the nearly men at Heavy.
Yep it was refreshing to actually hear some good technical commentary for once on a Brtish fight card, instead of the usual nonsensical cheer leading we get. Bring the guy back. He did good.
Have you listened to some of the brit commentators over the years? Even tonight Barry and whoever the main commentator was were all over Fury and Chisora it was good hearing Eddie talk about the opponents.
