James Kirkland 31-1 28ko amd Roberto Garcia 34-3 22ko is being talked about for the co-feature on Golovkins under card HBO show in Ne york April 26th. Should be some fireworks on that card !

James Kirkland deserves that payday already.

Can't believe how his career is stalled, even under GBP. The man should've gotten the Canelo fight this year.

Well, I know he's with SMS whatever, but he was under GBP, and even then he was stalled.

GTFOH with that "most protected" bull****! Canelo recently fought the no. 1 fighter in the world and also beat Trout.

Canelo already gave Kirkland a chance but JK pulled out.:deal

    Not true.

GBP tried to force James to take that fight when he had a rotator cuff injury.

If Canelo, handles Angulo, they will take Kirkland. Angulo, is being used as a measuring stick.

    TRUE.

We can go back and forth arguing about who said what but Fact is Kirkland was offered the fight but then backed out claiming a rotator cuff injury.

Other rumours claimed Kirkland simply wanted more money.

Either way my point stands. :deal

Kirkland's repeatedly stalled his own career by getting arrested and making poor business decisions. I feel about as much sympathy for him as I do for Dirrell in that regard. Actually less since there's no way you can tell me Roberto Garcia should appear in an HBO fight, yet Kirkland's going to get paid for taking him on.

He wanted more money because he was basically saying he was going in to lose because he wasnt 100%

    Not a very good point
