The thread asks - Does Fury get any credit for last night? I say no, as he would have been beaten against a better fighter.

You asked me - who would have beaten him last night - I list a few that I believe would have beaten him last night.

Then you ask - You think he's going to be in that condition for the rest of his career? The answer to that question is No.

The thread is about last night not the future, you seem to be a little pissed off that anyone could criticise Fury for last nights overall performance - Deal with it buddy. :thumbsup

I addressed the fact you couldn't seem to grasp the meaning of fighting a tune up after a long lay off and being very badly out of shape.

You can't understand a tune up. Why is that and why do you think other's are slow when you very ovbiously have the most meagre of intelligence.

 

Abell won the first round last night, a better fighter would have finished it there and then.

WHO has mentioned a tune up fight (apart from you)? Every poster on here knows it was a tune up fight, that is not what this thread is about though.

I give him credit. It was a poor performance in many ways but, he definitely showed that he has a decent chin since Abell for his flaws does pack a punch and he again proved his ability to recover.

But, he had been what... 10 months since his last fight? He's had a rough couple of weeks with his house getting attacked and such. He'd spent months preparing for Haye only to get screwed over twice and has announced he's bipolar and often feels depressed.

It's understandable that he's not in the best of shape. Hopefully, since he's got a good opponent lined up next in Dereck Chisora he puts more effort into getting into shape.

Pretty much sums it up! Time for Fury to shut the f**k up, get back to the gym, clear his mind and whip himself in shape. Both physically and mentally. That is if his ambition goes beyond being the No1 clown in the HW division. If he steps in the ring with Wlad in that shape, the Ukrainian will brutalize him. Badly...

He came in under prepared and 2 stone overweight and blew away a guy who went 5 rounds with Pulev in his previous fight and put Pulev on his backside!

What more would you want in the circumstances?

 

These 'Fury Fanatics' remind Mr. Iron Chin of Dimitrenko's fan boys a few years ago. Fury's basically an overweight version of Dimitrenko with a bit of showmanship.

 

I don't think I have ever seen such awful coordination and footwork on a boxer, fury is not good.

Fury looked good for someone who was clearly ring rusty and overweight, i'll judge him properly in April when he has another warm up fight before his summer showdown with Chisora.

Tyson brings excitement and entertainment to the Heavyweight division and boy does that division need someone like him.
