Better than wanting to fight the leftovers of danny Garcia, Peterson and Prescott. At least maidana is on a good run, Khan has looked awful for the last 3 years.

....Maidana v Mayweather is absolutely atrocious! Don't get me wrong, Maidana is a very good fighter, he's tough, aggressive, whole hearted and powerful. He's undoubtedly world class and a tough fight for most guys out there but he is custom bloody made for Floyd Mayweather!

He hasn't got great speed, he's not technically the best fighter, he lacks a little bit of precision in his punches and he only fights coming forward. Now if that isn't what you call an easy nights work for Mayweather I don't know what is.

While I hated the Khan v Mayweather matchup, at least Khans speed and combinations could have made it the slightest bit interesting. Maidana is made for Mayweather, a shut out win for Mayweather is guaranteed!

I like Floyd Mayweather, my sweet science taste buds will make me somewhat enjoy watching him school Maidana but is this really what the fans pay money for? Is it ****, we want to see him test himself and this is anything but a test!

 

Theres no one in the @ 147 or 154 who he doesnt do in as a huge favorite against.

Maidana is a legit belt holder @ 147. If he can't unify belts without complaints, then I dont know what to tell you.

I think Maidana is a better choice than Khan, but the belt holder argument isn't really legit.

There are so many belts (regular / interim / silver / platinum / emerald?) and belt holders that it significantly waters down the potency of that statement.
